INSTRUCTIONS
3. Limited amount of time will be given to complete each section; time for each section may vary
accordingly.
Questions asked in this section are based on an individual’s knowledge about his/her subject of
specialization. The purpose of this section is to measure candidate’s understanding and learning about
his/her field of interest.
Note: this section may vary according to the job title and department in which a candidate is applying for.

SECTION B (English)
Weightage: 15%
This section is of Basic English which includes grammar, vocabulary, tenses and sentence structuring etc.
The purpose of this section is to access an individual’s proficiency and command on English language
which would help in measuring his/her communication and writing skills.
Sample Questions:
Q1. Have you read that book ....... the life of Van Gogh?
Weightage: 15%
This section will include mathematical word problems to gauge an individual’s mathematical and
analytical skills and his/her capability to solve problems using these skills.
Sample questions:
1. Aslam is now x-10 years old. How old will he be ten years from now?
2. A number is divided by half of itself and the result is 2. What is the number?
Weightage: 20%.
This section will include quick, mental math and word series questions candidates are required to solve
these questions without the use of any sort of calculating device. The purpose of this section is to access
and measure candidates’ mental sills, processing, and stimulation.
