REFLECTION OF THE GLORIOUS QUR-AN

Religion means a ‘path or a way’. Conventionally it stands for a ‘path

or a way of life fixed by God Almighty, for the benefit of His human beings’.
Religion is something which human nature demands as it fulfils the spiritual
requirements of man by providing him suitable answer to the fundamental
human problems. In the scheme of things, science, to some extent, do provide
solutions to our physical problems. But “science without religion is lame,
religion without science is blind”. So said Albert Eistein. Islam is a religion of
peace and truth. Its foundation is firmly grounded in the teachings of the
Glorious Qur-an. It is God’s Word, for the purpose of discovering God’s Will,
revealed to His Last Prophet, Muhammad (S.A.); for the guidance of mankind
on the globe. “It is He Who has sent His Apostle with Guidance and the
Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion: and enough is God for a
Witness”. (48 : 27). “Behold this is a the Word that distinguishes (Good from
Evil): It is not a thing for amusement”. (86 : 13 – 14). (Here is) a Book which
We have sent down unto thee, full of blessings, that they may mediate on its
Signs, and that men of understanding may receive admonition”. (38 : 29). “Do
they not consider the Qur-an (with care)? Had it been from other than God,
they would surely have found therein much discrepancy”. (4 : 82) “This is no
less than a Message for the nations”. (6 : 90). Muhammad is not the father of
any of your men, but (he is) the Apostle of God, and the Seal of the Prophets:
And God has full knowledge of all things”. (33 : 40). “Oh mankind! there hath
come to you a direction from your Lord and a healing for the (disease) in your
hearts, – and for those who believe, a Guidance and a Mercy”. (10 : 57). One
can quote a number of verses for the Last Scripture and the Messenger of the
Omni-Potent and the Omniscient. Yet there are people who impute sons and
daughters to Him in their ignorance. It is not possible to define God as it
beyond the scale of the human intellect. He is only known and adored by His
numerous Beautiful Attributes. Learned Reader! Read and grasp the Reflection
of The Glorious Qur-an as prelude to the reading of the Book.
