Launch of Comio Smartphone – The Brief

◆ Comio, a Smartphone brand recently


launched in India, wanted to create
Brand Awareness and develop
credibility.

◆ Comio wanted to create a buzz


about Comio Launch in India through
Social Media.

◆ They wanted the campaign to trend.

◆ The buzz created should look Organic.


We suggested – The IDEA

◆ We divided the campaign into two


phases i.e pre launch and launch phase.
It was a four day activity.

◆ For the first day, we planted a leaked e-


mail about the launch of new Comio
Smartphone and made an influencer
tweet about it.

◆ On second day, Journalists tweeted and


Instagrammed the Comio media invite
for the launch event. We again engaged
200-300 Influencers to create another
trend and buzz around it.

◆ One day before the launch keyword


ComioLaunchTomorrow trended to
create the buzz. Entire campaign was
followed by the trended #tags.

◆ For the launch day, we planned a mega


trend with #tags like #ComioLaunch
#ComioMobileRevolution etc. which
trended for 12 hours.

◆ Since the brief was clear that the trend should


look Organic, Buzzoka team after brainstorming
made a smart move by planting a leaked e-mail.

◆ Sanjay Bafna, a well known Influencer, tweeted


that he got hold of such an email & that a new
smartphone brand Comio is just about to get
launched.

◆ Getting hold of these leaks show clout of a


blogger, so we rode on it & asked some 200
twitteratis to engage with blogger’s tweet. This
ultimately resulted in creating an Organic trend.

◆ Jeep wanted a specific set of


audience which could afford a
premium car in the range of 15-25
Lacs.

◆ Jeep wanted to create a national


level buzz at the launch of its first
vehicle in India.

◆ Jeep needed to be exposed to a

We suggested – The IDEA

◆ We figured out that Twitter was the most


apt medium to approach the brief as the
desired TG is very much active on Twitter
after Facebook.

◆ The idea was to capture car finits with


the help of influencers to create a buzz
about Jeep Compass.

◆ Around 1500 influencers tweeted about


the launch of Jeep Compass and
tagged various publishers and car finits
into their posts to maximise the reach.

◆ Hashtag #JeepCompass was used for
