How long has CTCB been going for?

75 years

Tell us about Encore and the fresh audience

approach?

I am very excited about what Encore is doing for

CTCB and the direction in which it is
leading the ballet company. It is so inspiring be-
ing around people who share a common passion and
work together towards the same ultimate goal.

What is Encore?

Encore is a group of young, energetic,

enthusiastic, passionate and glamorous profession-
als who have been brought together by their love of
ballet. They brainstorm, fundraise and network all
in the name of Ballet!
If there was one production you could put on,
what would it be?

We would LOVE to put on La fille mal Gardee! It

is a beautiful comical ballet in 2 acts,
literally translated it means The Guarded girl,
It is a story of a girl and a boy who want to
marry but the girls mother wants her to marry
a dimwitted but very rich man. The ballet is
charming and delightful. We have never been
able to put it on because the rights are so
expensive.

Why is the arts important?

The Arts are SO very important to a persons

education and well being. The arts feed our
soul! They give us beauty and light in a
progressively more unstable and dark world.

How can we book for up and coming performances?

You can book your tickets through computicket

and Dial-a-Seat. We do have a website that is
in the process of being upgraded:
www.capetowncityballet.org.za

We also have a facebook group everyone can join

for the latest CTCB news!

Hey MiLi what’s happening?

LOTS, MILI ONS, WHERE DO I START???

Okay so myself and MiLi Jo started out a fashion line in March 2010,
registered it and do all the legal jazz, but what drives us the most is the
intense love affair between MiLi Jo and her owner Michel Lisa
Johannessen. In the space of 4 months MiLi Jo has had 2 successful
fashion shows, first one at F.T.V, second at Butterfly Studios, been fea-
tured in Elle Magazine-June issue, soon to be featured in schmooze
on-line magazine, from the beginning of September MiLi Jo will be
found in four boutiques. One in Johannesburg, one store soon to be
opening in the northern suburbs and 2 residing in Claremont (Wardrobe
and The Lot) God willing in September I will be flying to Cyprus to be a
part of an amazing Charity event happening there.

MiLi Jo will be doing what she does best, working the runway with her
latest designs, but before we head to overseas. MiLi Jo will be doing
another fashion show in Cape Town sporting her latest designs to be
shown in Cyprus, so what’s happening, I’d respond with BLESSINGS!

How are you enjoying winter?

“Thanks to uncompromising lightweight construction and superior http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_SLS_AMG
handling dynamics, the SLS AMG provides an outstanding basis
for a highly competitive racing car. This exciting version is our re-
sponse to strong customer demand for a car designed for these
attractive motor sports series. Once again, it demonstrates AMG’s
huge experience gained in more than 40 years of motor sports,
and its great expertise in the development of unique high-perfor-
mance cars,” says Volker Mornhinweg, Chairman of Mercedes-
AMG GmbH.

But style and taste does have it expenses. And this motor cannot
be Africanfied. No trailer boetie! Roof rack only if you put your
surfboard skeef! And that’s illegal! You will have to pack light! If
you are going to play golf, be sure its only golf!

But according to Gordon Wagener, Head of Design at Mer-

cedes-Benz: “The interior of the new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is
not only very special because of the exclusive swing-wing doors.
The visible influence of aviation engineering, the high-grade
materials and the practicality typical of a sports car will make the
hearts of sports car enthusiasts beat faster. At the same time the
new interior styling indicates the design philosophy for coming
generations of Mercedes sports cars.” Now that is how you say,
complexity is worth everything!

A motor like this is a hobby, and I am sure that the gratitude of

the owner cannot be explained to have a Mercedes Bens SLS
AMG. With the strong focus of AMG to invent and create motors
that touches the boarders of extreme speed, class and design
has proven itself again! The evolution for aerodynamics and de-
sign will keep them busy for many years more to come.

QMS MEDI COSMETICS

Right, so we are a generation obsessed with looking good and want-

ing to look like the Hollywood star’s – meaning – bright eyed and busy
tailed. To be honest, I am not the kind of person who would rush out for
my botox shot or chemical peel or anything remotely to do with recon-
struction of any sorts. My philosophy, take care of yourself in a natural
manner.

In modern day society it can be a tough one – our daily routines are
scheduled to non-stop being out and about, meetings and social envi-
ronments and godly hours we have no control over. Where am I going
with all this?

Well, I have found a new product, which excites me and definitely has
my daily routine include that of spending time with myself. In fact I put
time aside for this ritual.

QMS MEDICOSMETICS is not a new product on the market, but one

which has been refined and reintroduced into the beauty industry.
The product has been around for over 15 years and DR Eric Schulte,
the founder of the brand who specialises in QMS MEDICOSMETICS has
put together a good range of amazing products to be used on a daily
basis.

6 weeks ago, I started my collagen treatment and I cannot even begin

to tell you how amazing the effect has been. My skin has slowly started
to regenerate, become plumper, tight and definitely wrinkle free. Ok,
don’t get me wrong, I did not have bad skin before, nor did I have
wrinkles – unless I smiled and pulled the face. The treatment itself is of
another standard – It lasts for 1, 5 hrs and you have 3 stages to the ac-
tual treatment.

Besides the collagen treatment, they also have Botox, which is not nee-
dled based!!! How fabulous! So if you want to find out more on the QMS
