The Renaissance Fair

The Renaissance Fair was a great period of culture change that began in Italy in the14th

century and lasted until the 16th century, which marks the transition between medieval and

early modern europe. In the late 17th century the newly formed united states of america

adopted the ideals of Democracy by establishing a Republican Democracy. The Renaissance

did not become so big until the end of the century. The word Renaissance is a french word that

means rebirth. After the Renaissance humanists labeled it as the Dark ages due to the culture

of classical antiquity. There are some people from here and some people from Italy that know

the Renaissance Fair as the cultural of achievements.

The Humanists, they were a crowd that miscellaneous sorts, that wear one face today

and then another tomorrow, they wear basically a two faced crowd they can agree with you but

moments later they disagree with you, but they formed a new element in society. Some

Humanists collectors of antique manuscripts. The Humanists first start in italy and then

spreaded across western Europe in the 14th, 15th, and 16th centuries. The Humanists were

also known for thinking there way of life was perfect and also believed that art was a necessary
part of education. Some of the Humanists were Petrarch, Niccolo Machiavelli, Thomas More,

Giovanni Boccaccio, and Desiderius Erasmus. Florence was swamped by the Humanists, after

the Humanists swamped Florence there was not one person who couldn’t read.

Republican Democracy is a form of government in which the people elect officials to

represent them. We have these Democracies to protect our rights and freedom, which is

summarized as life, liberty and property. Both the declaration of independence and the

Constitution of the United states were inspired by God to maintain the freedom of the people.

The rights we have today are God given, know one can take them away from you, we have the

right to to express any idea through print, voice, banner, or other media; also life liberty and the

pursuit of happiness. They also protect us from being forced to have soldiers live in your house

excessive fines, being tried twice for the same crime etc… all these right have a use to them

one way or another, some people do really believe in these rights but when the moment comes

they will or they won't but the rights still helped them.

I feel the Republican Democracy hasn’t really lived up to the democratic values because

there are some cases in the world where people are treated unfairly for where we come from,

for owner skin tones, and for our sexuality. If we did have rights we wouldn’t be treated they

were treated, were all equal no matter what, who we are. I do believe that the Republican

Democracy as a role in the global community but not because they do a good job at it they have

a role in this global community because they are important whether they do a good job or not,

they protect us when we need it. I just feel that if people are gonna be in such important part of

our lives that they should be far about who they judged. They should know that whatever they

decide affects someone's lives and they should set aside their personal feelings.

The Renaissance Fair was a great period of culture change, it was very important to some

people because this meant new beginnings for all. I feel that our Democracy is getting to the
point where they're getting better but I feel that there not to what we're expecting from them.

They are there to protect our right which they have by letting Obama be president and Clinton

run as first lady president. But I feel that it's unfair that we have Trump as our president when he

is not being far to latinos but let's hope he changes his ways. The Renaissance Fair is the

season of achievements.
