Bridges of Indiana Welcomes New Director

Bridges of Indiana has selected April Walton, a resident of Merrillville, Indiana, as the Northwest
Regional Operations Director. She will provide leadership to an exceptional group of people
dedicated to the service of individual with disabilities and the aging population. The Northwest
Region includes Gary, Merrillville, Lafayette, and surrounding counties.

Lafayette, IN, February 02, 2018 --(PR.com)-- April was born and raised in Hammond, IN. She received
her BS Degree in Psychology from South Carolina State University. April's professional experience
encompasses over 20 years in Program Management with a special emphasis of practice in the field of
Social Services. For the past 15 years, April managed multi-level operations in diverse populations,
worked extensively in mental health including supporting families and their loved ones diagnosed with
Bi-polar or Schizophrenic Disorder. April served as a Human Relations board Commissioner advocating
for equality for Americans living with disabilities. April is excited to become an addition to the Bridges
of Indiana team. She plans to contribute by following their proven successes and catapulting toward new
ventures for the development of the future.
