Mô tả Công việc
- Ensure all required of Environmental, Health & Safety and Waste Water Treatment plant
activities for the site are accomplished as required by regulatory and Abbott policy
requirements by work with line management to assure that activities of policy and
procedure are maintenance and development, walkthrough inspections, audits, task
evaluations, testing, training, briefings and reporting of performance measures/metrics are
completed
- Training, maintain and develop, if required, the necessary EHS standards to ensure the
environmental, health and safety of site personnel, visitors and contractors are complying
with Abbott standard and law required.
- Establishment & maintain Management & Technical standard on site, developed if needed.
- Co-ordinate the efforts of and coach personnel through the development of critical
documentation and tools to support risk assessments, safe work practices and adverse
event/near miss reporting & investigation.
- Assistance and support for corrective actions and recommendations to assure site EHS
improvements, call support EHS manager if any
- Help create a culture of injury-free attitudes within the site team by demonstrating
honest, genuine care and passion for EHS.
- Develop and implement site workplace inspections and audits to identify work hazards and
exposures. Determine trends and action plans and corrective actions.
- Ensure all regulatory documentation and records are maintained and report.
- Review and assist in the development of new facilities and processes to ensure optimum
EHS practices are integrated as part of the change.
- Be leadership and development of professional and administrative environmental & safety
staff ensuring all environmental programs, procedures, training, work practices and controls
are effectively implemented for transmission assets
- Managing EHS work team, which includes several technical and administrative level
positions.
- Participation in budget preparation and tracking, establishing and monitoring progress
toward company EHS goals
- Coordination and engagement of environmental personnel and other personnel in the
identification, development and implementation of EHS goals which will positively impact
and add value to the organization.
- Managing environmental processes within site operations to assure proper waste
management and minimization practices in accordance with regulatory requirements &
company standard.
- Monitoring developing environmental regulatory requirements and risk initiatives; analyze
potential impacts on system operations; provide operations and upper management with
information as appropriate.
- Ensuring timely environmental technical support to site transmission assets. This support
will be provided in the areas of regulatory compliance, compliance reporting.
- EHS data management, enforcement action response, and regulatory agency mediation.
- Work closely with Glomed leadership to ensure continual improvement and compliance in
EHS activities.
- Ensure WWT Operation has good stable operating and all parameter and management
systems are complying with regulatory requirement.
- Maintain and develop, if required, compliance-related policies and procedures based on
EHS requirements.
- Monitoring EHS metric update EHS manager if any out of control
- Manage Emergency response team by meeting, KPI assessment monthly
Project Management:
- Implements and tracks EHS projects.
- Performs basic feasibility studies related to project alternatives.
- Establishes and meets commitments to achieve plans and EHS targets, and maintains,
measures, and evaluates progress.
- Understands the business requirements and possible impacts, and has knowledge of the
stakeholder needs and EHS compliance when developing a project scope.
- Acts as a lead person or technical expert on projects.
Organizational Interface:
- Provides EHS support and mentors operating unit personnel and junior EHS professionals.
- Designs and delivers EHS training programs.
- Implements EHS policies and procedures.
Compliance:
- Complies with all regulations and standards.
- Ensures EHS compliance and risk mitigation through risk assessments and implementation
of strategies.
- Track company, industry and regulatory activities to ensure effective EHS compliance.
- Develops and provides training on programs, systems or EHS compliance.
- Assists with development of strategic EHS plans
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participates on cross-divisional teams to develop and align procedures/standards and
share best practices.
- Directs the efforts of others, such as technicians and outside resources.
- Develops requests for Capital Expenditures (RCE’s), safety assessments, audit reports,
etc.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

- Education: Electrical Engineering background
- Experience: Minimum 5 years experienced up specific to EHS & Security supervisory
boundary role
- Problem Solving / Innovation
- Investigates root causes of problems and incidents.
- Resolves day to day EHS issues.
- Assimilates disparate information from multiple sources, reviews for trends, adjusts plans
and draws inferences
