Reading and Writing Sports Day

This week, we continue to explore non-fiction
texts to learn more about Japan. Also, students
finish reading Dragon of the Red Dawn, a Magic
Tree House story set in ancient Japan.
Just a friendly reminder that Wednesday, 7 February is CAS Sports
Day for Grades 3 to 5. Students are encouraged to wear sports kits
in their team colors. Ask your student or classroom teacher for
more details.

Students are developing multiplication strategies, February
as well as finding patterns in multiplication.  4th Semester 1 ends.
Then, they apply these strategies to solve prob-
lems.  6th Spelling Bee.
