FINANCIAL ABILITY
As a non-immigrant international student accepted for admission to St. Petersburg College, you will be classified as
a non-Florida student and will be assessed out-of-state fees for the duration of your enrollment. An F-1 Student VISA
is considered a temporary status.
Each international student is expected to have sufficient funds to meet all personal and college expenses. Tuition
payment will be due before the first day of class.
St. Petersburg College requires you to have an equivalent yearly stipend (which is an estimate) for a minimum of two
terms, broken down as follows: Any special or lab fees are additional.
Please submit an original bank statement/letter as proof of your financial ability. It is the student’s responsibility to
review the U.S. Embassy’s website to determine what financial documents are required for the visa appointment.
SPC does NOT provide copies of financial documents to students for the visa appointment.
Please be advised that IRS regulations require St. Petersburg College to report any cash payments or money wires
of $10,000 or more during a fiscal year via Form 8300. This information is provided as a notice to you and no action
is needed on your behalf in regards to this reporting.

sponsor shall be responsible for all college and living expenses while the student is enrolled at St. Petersburg College.
