Valero Texas Open’s "Birdies for Charity" fundraiser!

Dear Potential Donor,

This year the Now You See Me Foundation is excited to participate in the "Birdies for
Charity" fundraiser. What is "Birdies for Charity?" It is like a walk-a-thon, but instead of
donating per mile, participants make a pledge for every birdie made at the Valero Texas Open.
In 2017, 1,975 birdies were made, so a pledge of $0.01 yielded a donation of $19.75, a $0.75
pledge yielded a donation of $1,481.25, etc. Or for ease, you can make a straight donation.

We will receive 100% of your donation and through the Valero Texas Opens’ incentives;
we could earn an additional 7% match! All donations are Tax Deductible.

What is a Birdie? In golf, "par” is the normal expected score on any given hole. Every one of the
18 holes on a golf course has its own par assigned to it. A birdie is one stroke under par for a
hole, possibly derived from the term "it flew like a bird" to indicate a good shot!

This year, the Now You See Me Foundation's efforts will be focused on supporting the funding
of spinal cord research. In addition, The NYSMF supports and assists athletes in rebuilding their
lives; primarily cyclists and runners in Texas, who have suffered traumatic disabling injuries
while training. All proceeds from the "Birdies for Charity" will go towards the funds for a 2019
Now You See Me 5k &10k.

Guess the Birdies Contest: Correctly guess number of birdies made at the Valero
Texas Open. One lucky donor who chooses correctly, wins a Stay-and-Play Package,
compliments of TPC San Antonio and JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country
Resort.*Deadline April 16th, 2018.

Birdies Club: Any individual donor or business that pledges $0.75 minimum or a one-
time donation of $1,000 or more (by March 21) is part of the Birdies Club and will
receive four (4) Good Any One Day tickets to the Valero Teas Open and recognized on
a sign displayed at the tournament.

Attendance Drawing: Donors who make a contribution through Birdies for Charity and
attend the Valero Texas Open (April 19-21) are entered into a drawing; if chosen, the
winner will earn NYSMF a donation of $20,000 in their honor.* Must check in each day
of attendance at the Donation Station near the main gate to earn entries into drawing
(up to four entries/person). The lucky donor will win a two-year lease on a Ford vehicle!
