ISLAMIC DEVELOPMENT BANK MERIT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2018-19

The objec ve of the programme is to develop technically qualifi ed human resources in the IDB member countries (h p://www.isdb.org/irj/portal/anonymous?Naviga onTarget=navurl://750e51a0219adf78e6329e889512714e) by providing scholarships to promising and outstanding scholars and researchers to undertake advanced studies and research in the fields of applied science and technology needed for the development of the member countries.

The Programme is designed to help promising research students to pursue a full- me three-year Ph.D. study in scien fic disciplines that enhance development in IDB member countries, with priority to Sustainable Agricultural, Educa on for Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Energy, Sustainable Ci es, Responsible Growth, Waste Management, Popula on Growth, Green Chemistry, Biodiversity, Plas c Pollu on and Micro Plas cs, Water and Hygiene, Health, ICT for Development, Innova on & Infrastructure Development, Islamic Economics, Finance & Banking, and Development related Social Sciences. The Programme is also designed to help researchers to undertake a six-twelve month specific innova ve post-doctoral research project to address a problem-solving ma er in member countries on the above men oned fields of study.
