Surface Safety Valves

The PVD-PTI surface safety valve is a

stand alone unit that can be
incorporated into the well test or
production system downstream of the
well head and affords an additional level
of protection for equipment and
personnel.
Via a quick exhaust fitted to the
pressure cylinder, it provides quick
response times to any incident and the
system can be tailored for all client
requirements (see data sheet on ESD
panels / systems)
 Skid mounted for easy
installation
 Adaptable inlet and outlet
connections to suit most
applications
 Can provide positive visible
identification of valve status
 Connected to ESD loop via the
ESD panel so can be function
remotely

Typically the Surface Safety Valve is

either 5,000 psi or 10,000 psi and is
either pneumatically or hydraulically
actuated. Higher working pressure
15,000 psi rated units are also
available.
