Proposed Marketing Plan for promoting IBMR’s MBA Programme

1. Word-of-mouth Communication
College Brand would highly rely on students; this is possible by having good and a
positive word-of-mouth from students about the college.
2. Advertisement Hoardings
a. Advertisement Hoardings should be placed at various places in and around
Hubli to attract students
b. Preferred locations should be central bus stand, entry and exit points
c. Hoardings should also be planned near PGCET centre in North Karnataka
3. Special Activities
Prospective Students and their Parents should be invited to college campus by
conducting events especially meant for them viz., Career Forums.
4. Social Media
Use of Social Media like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Whatapps to attract
prospective students can be used, by posting various ads on the social media.
5. News Letter
A Monthly newsletter containing various activities held in particular month should be
sent to student’s residential address, so that their parents read more about the college
on a regular basis.
6. Placements
Placement records should be highlighted to prospective student during admission
drive.
7. Internal Events
Internal Events/Fests to be conducted by involving students of BBA, BCA, B Com,
MBA and M Com students.
8. Database Generation
Database containing list of final year degree students to be collected from various
colleges across North Karnataka
