BACK
Back Left Leg
With CC, cast on 9 (10, 10, 11) sts. Work in k1,
p1 ribbing for 4 rows. Break CC, switch to MC.
Work 2 rows even in St st.
Inc row (RS): K1, m1, knit to end – 1 st inc’d.
Rep Inc row every 4 rows, 3 (3, 4, 4) more
times – 13 (14, 15, 16) sts. Work even in St st
until piece meas 7 (8, 9, 10)” from cast-on
edge, ending with WS row. Break yarn, place
sts on holder.
Back Right Leg
With CC, cast on 9 (10, 10, 11) sts. Work in k1,
p1 ribbing for 4 rows. Break CC, switch to MC.
Work 2 rows even in St st.
Inc row (RS): Knit to last st, m1, k1 – 1 st inc’d.
Rep Inc row every 4 rows, 3 (3, 4, 4) more
times – 13 (14, 15, 16) sts. Work even in St st

Body, Join Legs
Next row (RS): Knit across Back Right Leg sts,
knit across Back Left Leg sts – 26 (28, 30, 32)

row. Place removable marker at each side to
indicate bottom of armholes. Cont in St st
until piece meas 3½ (4, 4¼, 4½)” from

FRONT
Front Right Leg
Work as for Back Left Leg.
Front Left Leg
Work as for Back Right Leg.
Body, Join Legs
Next row (RS): Knit across Front Left Leg sts,
knit across Front Right Leg sts – 26 (28, 30, 32)
sts. Work even in St st until piece measures 3
(4, 5, 6)”, ending with WS row.
Separate Fronts for Placket Opening
Next row (RS): K11 (12, 13, 14), attach new ball
of yarn and bind off center 4 sts, knit to end – 11
(12, 13, 14) sts rem for both Left and Right
Fronts. Working both sides at once, cont in St st
until piece meas 5 (6, 7, 8)” from joining row.
Place removable marker at each side to indicate
bottom of armholes. Cont in St st until piece
meas 1½ (2, 2¼, 2½)” from markers, ending with
WS row.
Shape Neck
Bind off 2 sts at Neck Edge of each side 1 time,
then dec 1 st at Neck Edge every RS row, 2 times
– 7 (8, 8, 9) sts rem each side. Cont in St st until
piece meas 3½ (4, 4¼, 4½)” from markers, ending
with WS row. Bind off all sts.
SLEEVES
With CC, cast on 14 (14, 16, 16) sts. Work in k1,
p1 ribbing for 4 rows. Break CC, switch to MC.
Work 2 rows even in St st.
Inc row (RS): K1, m1, knit to last st, m1, k1 – 2 sts
inc’d. Rep Inc row every 8 (6, 8, 6) rows, 1 (2, 2, 3)
more time(s) – 18 (20, 22, 24) sts. Work even in
St st until piece meas 6 (7, 9, 10½)” from cast-on
edge, ending with WS row. Bind off all sts.
FINISHING
Sew Shoulder seams.
Neck Edging
With CC and RS facing, pick up and knit 8 sts
along Right Front Neck shaping, 13 (13, 15, 15)
sts along Back Neck edge, 8 sts along Left Front
Neck shaping – 29 (29, 31, 31) sts. Work 3 rows in
k1, p1 ribbing. Bind off all sts in patt over the
next RS row.
Placket Edging
With CC and RS facing, pick up and knit 12 (13,
14, 15) sts along right side of Placket
opening/side of Neck Edging. Work 3 rows in k1,
p1 ribbing. Bind off all sts in patt over the next RS
row. Repeat for left side of Placket opening. Sew

Sew Sleeves to body, centering top of sleeve

to shoulder seam, and placing between
removable markers. Sew Sleeve and side
