User Guide

 1. Introduction
The MMU Smart Parking System is intended to help you ease parking process efficiently in
the compound of Multimedia University.
After installing the Mobile App or Through Website, you will be able to:

 Find a Parking
 Book a parking
 View Booking Parking List (Only for Security Staff User)

2. Installation and login

Process after installing brings you to the Welcome page of MMU smart parking, you will be
required to select your designation in MMU to proceed.

After selecting your designation in MMU, you will be required to enter the following
information to login:

 User ID and Password: Student, Staff and Staff Security User ID are given individually
by MMU along with the password for all users to login in all portals standardize by
the Multimedia University.

 3. Application Usage Overview
Here you can access several MMU parking system functions if you are users of “Student” or
“Staff”.
Click the functions required by you as such:

 Find a Parking
 Book a Parking

Here you are able to click your chosen location available for each user:

Student:
 Faculty of Engineering
 Faculty of Management
 Faculty of Computing and Informatics
 Faculty of Creative Multimedia
 Open Parking Space
 Dewan Tun Canselor

Staff:
 Faculty of Engineering
 Faculty of Management
 Faculty of Computing and Informatics
 Faculty of Creative Multimedia
 Open Parking Space
 Dewan Tun Canselor
 Student Affairs Division

The selected located parking layout will be shown in Figure 5. In this layout, you are able to
scrutinize the available parking around the area currently with the indications given as
such:-
Green – Vacant
Red – Occupied
Yellow – Reserved
Users are able to click on the parking they wish to park at to look at the surroundings of the
area. Once found the parking spot the student user are able to proceed to click the log out
button and if student user wish to look for other parking spot user may click on the back
button to Figure 4 to select other locations or if student user would like to select other
functions student user may proceed by clicking the home button and the system will bring
student user back to Figure 3.

 5. Book a parking

To Book a parking users may go back to home in figure 8 to look at the functions and select

 Book a Parking

Step 1: Users are needed to click on the location you wish to book

Step 2: User then are able to select on the parking lots they wish to book that does not
indicate reserved then press continue

Step 3: Users then are required to fill in the form given as such:-

 Name
 User ID
 Contact no
 Email address
 Event Name
 Purpose
 Faculty and club

And select the date request to book on the application.

Then, click submit to continue.

Step 4: After user has confirmed the booking details as such:-

 Name
 User ID
 Contact no
 Email address
 Event Name
 Purpose
 Faculty and club
 Parking lots requested
 Date of Bookings
User may click confirm to proceed on bookings.

Step 5: After clicking on confirm, users will receive the confirmation serial code and the
booking is a success.
Users may screenshot or take note on the serial number for safety and security purposes.
