Fabric: 3 layers - 2 cotton (top and backing) and 1


batting/fleece.

Procedure:
1. Draw design lines on backing fabric. Use quilt guide for
channel
quilting.
2. Sandwich batting between wrong sides of top and backing
fabrics.
Pin to prevent shifting.
3. Stitch over design lines. The top fabric will face the
machine bed.
4. Once the chainstitch is formed, the presser foot should not
be lifted.

Exception: Turning a corner. Sew last stitch by manually turning


flywheel.
Complete the stitch, raise needle enough to see needle eye while
needle tip
remains in fabric. Lift presser foot and gently pivot fabric.
Lower presser
foot and continue stitching.
