The symptoms of peptic ulcers as burning stomach pain, Feeling fullness, bloating
or bleching, fatty food intolerance, heartburn and nausea. The most common symptoms
like he was burning to a stomach bug. Almost three quarters of the people who are peptic
ulcers specific having no symptoms. The most severely affected symptoms from this
disease are a vomiting of blood, blood in the feces, hyperventilating, faint, fever, nausea
vomiting, weight loss ,and appetite loss.
Peptic ulcers occurs when acid in the stomach in gnawing the surface of a
stomach or small intestine. Acid can make open wounds or bleeding. Digestive tract
consisting of several layers of mucous normally protecting it from stomach acid. But
when the amount of acid increased or the gastric mucosa eroded then can forms an ulcer.
The cause that helicobacter pylori bacteria living together in unprotected mucous layer of
tissue between the stomach and intestines smooth. Usually helicobacter pylori not cause
problems, but can make inflammation in the lining of the stomach and in forms an ulcer.
The spread of this bacteria not known exactly, maybe spread from one person to another,
for example through food and drink. Using painkiller medicine in a long-term such a non
steroid anti inflammatory ( NSAIDs ) can make a layer of stomach being irritant and
inflamed. Other drugs, using another drugs wits NSAIDs such as steroids, anticoagulants,
low-dose aspirin, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), alendronate (Fosamax)
and risedronate (Actonel) make developing ulcers greatly increase.
Risk factor
In addition to aspirin, several risk factors that can increase the occurrence of gastric
ulcers such as smoking, drinking alcohol, prolonged stress and eating spicy foods.
Complications
1. Internal bleeding. Where will cause the blood loss slowly causing anemia, vomiting
blood, or dysentery. It should be treated with treatment in hospital or with blood
transfusion
2. Infection, gastric ulcers can cause serious infections of the abdominal cavity (Peritonitis)
3. Obstruction, will cause swelling, inflation in the stomach and will make you feel full, feel
