Time  Procedure Log Entry

 Set Condition Red 

 Stop gangway traffic. Disassemble gangway(s) if needed. 

 Inform Master and Staff Captain.

 Call engine control room. Request engines and power for thrusters. 

 Call stand-by personnel.

 Keep gangway watches.

 Tenders to depart and stay clear.

 Hotel Manager informed.

 Passengers and crew over the PA system. 

 Bow thrusters running. 

 Engines running. 

 Radars running. 

 Inform port control and/or plot station. 

 Inform other ships in the vicinity.

LOG: Note significant measures in the Log Book. 

 Set Port Conditions, if applicable. 

Details about any items on checklist that are not completed are to be recorded in Deck Log Book.
