THE HYDRO PISTOL

As you can easily understand from the name that our project is based on a
Pistol operated by Water Energy.
Water is the most widely available resource after solar energy, and this gun
only needs water to run.
BENEFITS OF THIS PISTOL
 This pistol is very very cheap because it is just made by simple materials
and its mechanism is also very simple and innovative.
 This pistol do not need any maintenance cost as this runs on just water
which is available everywhere.
 This pistol is completely pollution free, as it does not need any gun
powder, and runs on water.
 The bullets used in the pistol are directly reusable, because they are not
destroyed after use.

DESIGN OF THE PISTOL

Design of this pistol is very simple and innovative and the gun is operated by a
water Piston which creates pressure on the bullet and pushes it forward with
great speed. A pressure hold is created which stops the compressed water, and
when this compressed water is released then the bullet in barrel is forced out
of gun. The trigger is connected to the Pressure hold which removes the hold
to release water.

MECHANISM OF THE PISTOL

As It is told earlier that the pistol have a simple and innovative mechanism. So,
let’s take a glance at the mechanism of the pistol and know how it works.

The Diagram (Blue Print) you can see above is the mechanism of Barrel of the Pistol.
Actually ,the barrel of pistol consist of 2 tubes,1 big(Barrel) and other small which is
inside the barrel in which ammunition(bullet) will be kept. A puller is present with a
vacuum creator at end of it, when this Puller is pushed into the Barrel, water inside
barrel becomes pressurised and compressed.
Now, this compressed water have a lot of potential energy, which is going to push
the bullet kept inside 2nd tube (the small tube).
There is a Pressure holder present in the small tube where bullet is kept. This
pressure holder is the main part of the gun because this keeps the pressurised water
compressed and do not let water flow out until pulled down by pressing the trigger
(Mechanism of trigger will be explained further).
Two hooks are also present (Hook A - Hook B), which are to be tied, so that the Puller
does not get pushed backward due to pressurised water.
Hence, by the action of released water (which was compressed earlier), the bullet
goes out of the Barrel and hits the target.
 TRIGGER FUNCTIONING

Spring- It is attached around the Trigger- Pushes Button X inside.

Pressure holder, which will pull
holder down.

Button X- This button gets inside the

hollow space, when trigger is
pressured. Due to which spring
works.

Holder- Needs to be pushed up

again manually, to reload the gun.

The functioning of trigger seems to be very confusing but it actually quite simple.
You might not have noticed that this functioning is same as the functioning of pens
you use.
When the trigger is pressed, Button X is pushed into the hollow space above spring.
Due to this Holder frequently comes down and Bullet is fired.
To reload the gun, you need to push the holder upwards manually, as you do with
your pen.
