STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION

Subject: Forwarding of result of Computer Based Written Examination. Computer for

Recruitment of Temporary Constables (Executive)-Male and Female in Delhi Police-2016 -

Application data of 17,90,122 candidates was forwarded to Delhi Police for

conducting Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT). On Completion of
PE&MT, Delhi Police handed over data of 1,95,860 candidates to the Commission for
conducting Computer Based Written Examination. Computer Based Examination for these
candidates was conducted by the Commission from 05-12-2017 to 08-12-2017 in which
1,83,047 candidates appeared.

2. Category-wise Marks List in respect of 1,82,993 candidates (excluding Court

Cases/Debarred Candidates) is as follows:

3. As per Notice of the Examination,

“The Commission will process and declare the result of Computer based written
examination and the merit list of candidates will be provided to Delhi Police for further
Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Police Verification. Delhi Police will issue call
letter and conduct DME and Review Medical Examination (RME)”.

4. Out of 1,83,047 candidates who appeared in the Computer Based Written

Examination, 49 candidates are involved in various litigations. Result of following candidates

Commission. Result of these candidates has not been processed. Roll No. of these candidates

6. In view of the aforesaid Marks List in respect of 148896 (Male) and 34097 (Female)
for Recruitment of Temporary Constables (Executive)-Male and Female in Delhi Police-2016
have been forwarded to Delhi Police for medical examination and declaration of final result
keeping in view the number of vacancies under various categories.

8. Court cases/RTI/Public Grievances relating to all other issues vacancies, conduct of

PE&MT, Detailed Medical Examination, Review Medical Examination, Police Verification of
candidates will be handled by Delhi Police.
