The Summer Academy program offers you the


chance to join the UC Riverside community of
University of California, more than 150 advanced high school students.

college credit on an official UC transcript, meet
with distinguished faculty, and build new
relationships with fellow UCR students. Take

The Summer Academy begins with an orientation,


a campus tour, and the opportunity to meet your
summer classmates. The program events provide a
multitude of helpful tips on how to make the most
of your UCR learning experience and plan for
your future academic career. You can also attend
lunch with currently enrolled UC Riverside
students who will answer questions about what
it’s like to be an undergrad at UCR and much
more. We encourage you to consider these
beneficial activities and workshops when planning
your summer schedule.

Financial Assistance
The Summer Academy is offering financial
assistance to students with financial needs on a
"first come, first served" basis due to funding
limitations. The request for assistance is included
in the application form. Students who indicate a
need for financial assistance will be contacted
with information regarding the requesting process.
