BRIEFLY AND CONCISELY WITH BASIS.

91 – 95: Brian and Michelle, Filipino citizens, are husband and wife. The two of decided to go on
a US trip sponsored by their parents as a wedding gift. Michelle was already 8months pregnant
when the trip was scheduled and decided to go anyways despite the advice of their OB – Gyne.
During their trip, Michelle’s water broke and was already on labor. Upon landing on US soil,
Michelle gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Nico. Determine the citizenship of baby Nico
using the provisions of the 1987 Phil. Constitution on the Articles of Citizenship as well as related
doctrines and principles.

96 – 100: You have a friend who is a member of the local legislative council of your
city/municipality. Your friend asks you if it would be alright to acquire the property of your neighbor
in order to convert it to a church. Determine the constitutionality of such an act using the
provisions of the 1987 Phil. Constitution regarding Eminent Domain and other related concepts
