spreadsheets for analysis.
 Product display construction; I assembled a product display for upcoming seasonal products to demonstrate
how it would look in stores such as Target and CVS.
 Social media research; I was asked to research social media influencers for which the company could hire
to implement product advertisements and reviews. After researching, I created a presentation and presented
my findings to the Executive Management board of the company.
 Competitor product testing; I was asked to purchase, use, and review competitor products in order to
compare them to similar company products.

Organized various DECA events for our chapter and analyzed/reviewed our financials before each trip to ensure we
stayed within our budget. I was a state competition finalist and competed in the national DECA conference in
Orlando Florida.

In addition to my interests in the beauty industry and business, I have also acquired a strong passion for writing
throughout the years. I have written dozens of poems in my spare time and have submitted various articles to JMU’s
student-run newspaper. My overall strengths are my ability to channel these passions for writing, business, and
marketing, and apply them within real-world situations.
