EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This Study includes how Training and Development initiatives taken, how to keep
employees motivated as well as how to control insubordinations, compensation and
benefits planning, how to lead etc.

Training and Development helps in increasing the job knowledge and skills of employees at
each level and helps to expand the horizons of human intellect and an overall personality of
the employees. Employee can survive and they have the opportunity to overcome any
obstacles.
This report is broadly categorized in six different parts. At first chapter there is introduction
where I described the origin of the report along with rationale, objectives, sources of data and
limitation. The main objective of this report is to analyze and focus on “Training &
Development Program: Overall Scenario of Private Commercial Bank in Bangladesh”.
Chapter two narrates the company profile including organizations history, their vision,
mission, objectives, functions, and performances.
Chapter three shows about relevant literature. It includes method, types, role, objective,
importance and process of training and development program. This chapter includes what
types of training and other facilities are given by the bank to increase the employee's
knowledge and skills.
