A theory supporting Presupposition Theory is Expectancy Theory

which states that customer concludes their satisfaction about the

products and services availed using their experience and expectation.

There are three types of expectation, those are ideal expectation is what

a person happen, normative expectation is what a person expects to

happen, and predictive expectation is what a person thinks will happen

base on experience (Ekinci & Sirakaya, 2004).

Another supporting theory is Dissatisfaction Theory it is review a

cluster of problems for most extant theories of presupposition, arguing

that the main pragmatic response to these problems faces a serious

challenge. According to this theory, consumers conclude their

satisfaction about the products and services availed using their

experience and expectation (Mandelken, 2016).

Maintaining a clean and hygienic living environment for the

destination is another key responsibility of the Tourism Department. Tam

Dao (2016) said that building the “green-clean-beautiful” environmental

landscape at tourism areas is one of the important

5
issues in order to create a new image for the tourism of the

province. They focus on directing the collection, waste treatment and

environmental protection; enhancing the role and responsibilities of local

governments, awareness of residential community and visitors.

Facilities are the largest and most ubiquitous sub-sector within the

tourism economy. With few exceptions, tourists require a location where

they can rest and revive during their travel through, or stay within, a

tourism destination. As tourists make their journey for travelling purpose,

in most of the cases, they need some form of amenities to rest and

refresh along their travel. Therefore, amenities appeared to be a need of

human travelling. Throughout the human race many footage of amenities

can be found. Types and organization of amenities varies in relation to

its size and facilities but their main purpose is to service their customers

(Cooper, 2008).

Safety and Security have changed from a state-owned and state-

defined virtue to a societal value and aim. This refers to the discussion

on the transnational, idealistic and constructivist

6
approaches that focus on social and civilian safety and security.

The approach widens the agenda of the discussion by bringing the

environment and economics into the discussion on safety and security.

Environmental questions have appeared as security issues in questions

related to environmental disasters and sustainability. The economic

approach highlights themes such as managing an economic crisis and

the just allocation of financial resources within society and global

systems (Hall, 2009).

According to Barents Luke (2012), improved accessibility and

efficient transportation infrastructure are two central preconditions for

tourism development. In this action plan accessibility is understood in

terms of facilitating both virtual and physical access to tourism

destinations on a global and local state. The idea of accessibility refers

to the effort of making tourism destinations accessible to travelers

regardless of their physical limitations, disabilities or age.

All these theories, studies, and related literature suggest and talk

about satisfaction, expectation, and service quality. Studying and

identifying the tourists’ needs may lead to great benefits to the
