CAPSTONE/Comprehensive Assignment Sheet; Ver 1.0

10Feb2018
This sheet details the assignment as discussed in class.
Type: Group AND Individual components
The Capstone in our course focuses on the CEO interviews conducted by participants in
groups of 10 each. It carries a total weight of 40 per cent of the evaluations in the
course. The components of this Capstone are as follows:

1. Research and a note on the background of the CEO, his/her work and/or
company, with relevant quotes/analysis, to be done before the interview date
and filed on the app called Google Classroom: INDIVIDUAL [This is done] 10%
2. The interview proper, duly audio recorded or (if audio is disallowed by the
interviewee) long form full notes: GROUP [This is done] 10%
3. Audio mp3 or similar digital file or long form handwritten notes copy to be sent
within 24 hours of the interview: GROUP [This is done] 10%
4. Full transcript of the audio or MsWord file of full notes transcribed from long
form handwritten notes where the interviewee asked not to be audio recorded.
Use the format specified and given to you on Google Classroom to file this
transcript. If all have attended the interview, divide the file and transcribe it as a
group. Where one or two did not attend the interview, state the official reason
and then the entire file may be transcribed by the person who did not attend.
This will enable those who could not attend the interview to listen in fully and
participate in the group activity: GROUP [This is done]10%
5. A presentation [10-12 minutes total with a max of 08-10 minutes of Q&A]
where the group takes the stage to discuss the interview, the learnings and offers
a discourse on how/why members of the group agree/disagree on the points
that came up during the conversation: GROUP PRESENTATION [Expected in
Class on the date/s specified] 30% [Other faculty members may attend this
session]
6. A note of 1,000 words (+/- 20 per cent) on your individual learnings and
personal reflections from the interview: INDIVIDUAL 30%[Expected in Class
on the dates specified for the presentation in art.5 above][FILE ON EKOSH]
The tentative dates (subject to change) for the final presentation and
submissions are as follows:
