 Formulated reliable forecast using historical data to estimate the Demand for
the shipping routes by customers as per season and matched it with the
supply i.e. capacity of the vessels available for those routes.
 Examined the market trend, seasonality and communicated it to the All India
Procurement team. This process was carried out by having phone
communications and meeting with carriers on a monthly basis.
 Negotiated purchase of ocean freight for clients like Mother Dairy (Fruit pulp,
Juices, Milk products), and Ruchi Soya.

 Charted a cause and effect diagram to understand the reasons for the low
order fill rate. Analyzed the order picking operation to reduce the errors in
picking SKUs which increased the fill rate from 90% to 95%.
 Delivered Zero Defects in invoicing and reduced the time required for it by
80%. Achieved cost reduction by 26% in the purchase of cartons for e-
commerce division.

 Identified the reasons for high truck turnaround time, followed up with time
