From the President’s Desk


I am humbled by Neithal team ongoing commit-
ment to enriching and expanding Rotary’s hu-
manitarian initiatives. Our Neithal team visited
pakam village (near Minjur) and visited a primary
school. Followed by the visit, school managment
has formally requested for basic facility. We have
decided to support the school.

We too have made three flag exchange in August


and September 2017 with Chicago Rotary one
club, Michigan Rotary Club of Mount Clemens
and Bangkok South club.

To my fellow Rotarian, Neithal Club, We will expand our membership to 33 before end
of 2017 this will strengthen Neithal for greater

Visit to a primary school near Minjur

Our Club president along with Rtn Sitalakshmi, Rtn Kavitha, Rtn Sandeep visited a primary
school in a village near Minjur. This school has classes up to 5th standard and the students
parents are basically working as casual labour in the region. We agreed to support basic
needs like change dress, books, tables and chairs.

ROTARY CLUB OF NEITHAL

FLAG EXCHANGE AT Bangkok South

Our President, Rtn Natarajan attended the meeting of Rotary Club of Bangkok South, one of
the oldest Rotary clubs in Thailand on 15th Sep 2017 and exchanged flags. Rotary Club of
Bangkok South, celebrated 50th anniversary in 2011. They have 100 members from 20 different
countries, making this one of the largest and most diverse Rotary Clubs in Thailand.

FLAG EXCHANGE AT CHICAGO ONE CLUB

Rtn Murugesh and Rtn Santhanaraman participated in the Chicago One club meeting and ex-
changed our flag with the President Rtn Conor Gee on 3rd October 2017. The meeting was
conducted at the City Council Chamber, Chicago City. It was the oldest club which was
formed in 1906, before Rotary international

We have received our charter in Aug 2017, from PRIP Rtn Gary Huang.
This has handedover to us in the presence of our District Governor
Rtn Srinivasan and other 3232 district officials.
