Welcome to 2018 1st Unnes Physics International Symposium (UPIS 2018) will be held in
Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Universitas Negeri Semarang, Semarang, Central
Java Indonesia during May 3, 2018. This conference is jointly organized by Physics Department,
Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang and Physics Society
Indonesia.

The UPIS Symposium is an international forum for presentation of technological advances and
research results in the field of theoretical physics, Physics and education Medical Physics,
Material Science, Nuclear and Instrumentation, Bio Physics, and Engineering. The symposium
will bring together leading researcher, engineers and scientists in the domain of interest from
around the world. We warmly welcome prospected authors submit your new research papers to
UPIS 2018 and share the valuable experiences with the scientist and scholars around the world.

This event will include the participation of renowned keynote speakers, oral presentation, poster
sessions related to the topics dealt with in the scientific program as well as an attractive social
and cultural program.

The organizing committee would like to invite all the scientific community to participate in this
program, presenting papers or communications related to any of the proposed areas.

Conference Aims and Objectives

The aim of 1st UPIS 2018 is to bring together leading academic scientist, researcher and
research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research result on all aspect of
theoretical physics, Physics and education Medical Physics, Material Science, Nuclear and
Instrumentation, Bio Physics, and Engineering. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary
platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent
innovation, trend, and concerns as well as practical challenge encountered and solution adopted
in the field of theoretical physics, Physics and education Medical Physics, Material Science,
Nuclear and Instrumentation, Bio Physics, and Engineering.

Call For contribution

All honourable authors are kindly encouraged to contribute to and help shape the symposium
through submissions of their research abstract, paper and posters. Also, high quality research
contribution describing original and unpublished result of conceptual, constructive, empirical,
experimental or theoretical work in all proposed areas are cordially invited for presentation at the
symposium. The symposium solicits contributions of abstract, papers and posters that address
themes and topic of symposium including figures, tables, and references of novel research
materials.

Journal of Conference Series

All submitted papers will be blind peer reviewed by two competent reviewers. Selected papers
will be published in Journal of Conference Series, which report findings presented at some of the
world’s most important scientific conferences. Journal of Conference Series is indexed in an
number of data bases, including the conference citation index, scopus, inspec, Chemical Abstract
series, Astrophysics Data System. The symposium abstract and proceeding book, CD and
certificate of presentation will be distributed to participant at the conference registration desk.
