In the future, jobs for electricians are going to rise because a lot of the current ones will be retiring
soon. Electricians are very successful I BC because there is a lot of development in residential
areas.
2. What are the salary ranges for this career? Is there one province that may be more appealing

In BC the jobs pay ranges from $31,300 to $79,294 possibly more if I specialize

The job opportunities are growing because the current electricians are soon retiring and it will
create jobs for new workers

I’ve been interested in this for a little while now

No I haven’t, everything I have read I already knew because I already know a few electricians

career?
PROS
Its easy to make a lot of money because the more you specialize the more you make
Electricians are currently in high demand so its easy to get a job.
CONS
It is a higher risk job because electricians normally are working on high places and with
dangerous equipment
Some times you have to work really ling hours

Not having the right tools, not being able to get an apprenticeship

why not.
Yes I still want to pursue this career because I have always liked working with electricity and
machinery. This is the career I have chosen and I am already taking the courses to make that
possible.

It is growing and I think because technology is changing and we are able to build more under
water.

They must meet CSA standard Z275.402, competency standard for diving operations, occupational
diver certificate, must get a diver medical exam, may require military or police experience, they may
require a provincial blast license

personal savings, RESP’s, work, bursary/scholarships, or possibly take out a student loan?
I would use a student loan and pay it off my self

I’ve never been diving before but I’ve always wanted to and I thing is something I would enjoy.

That there is lots of different types of commercial divers, and they are basically under water
construction workers
