GRADUATION MESSAGE

My congratulations to the graduates of batch 2017!

Today is indeed a time of jubilant celebration as you have finally reached the
summit of your elementary education. Your six years of hard work, growing up, taking
new challenges and persevering through difficult times really paid off.

This commencement exercise is just the beginning of more complex and

challenging obstacles in your life. You are now equipped with the powerful tools of
combating these blocks that may either keep you away from realizing your dreams or lead
you to a higher degree of achievement and fulfillment.
This year’s theme: Sabay Sabay na Hakbang Tungo sa Magandang
Kinabukasan fittingly highlights the significant role of varied stakeholders to achieve the
shared vision of quality, accessible, relevant and liberating basic education for all. Unity
and collaboration are therefore crucial towards progress and development.
To better equip you with the quality education we envision, the Department of
Education strengthens its collaboration with all sectors of society. This will also provide
you, dear graduates, more opportunities to learn and discover your skills and talents. Your
optimum development will be our primordial concern.
As you receive your diplomas and medals today for a job well done, don’t forget to
show and express your appreciation of the support and hardwork of people who have
guided you along your educational transformation – your parents, teachers, friends,
classmates, other stakeholders, and above all, the Divine Creator.
Ahead of you are more opportunities for learning which will be further honed by
your experiences in the junior and senior high school.
Soar high and follow your dreams. The best is yet to come. Happy graduation day!

MOVING UP MESSAGE

Congratulations to our 2017 Junior High completers!

You have successfully braved the challenges and hardships of your junior high
school education. The glow of pride and joy in your faces are concrete symbols of your
triumphs and for that you deserve recognition.

As you begin to face the final high school life – the senior high school - bigger and
more formidable challenges await you on the road to maturity in search for a deserving
place under the sun.

Your greatest weapon then is the countless knowledge you have gained from your
10 years of primary and junior high school education.

As the final piece of the K-12 is put into place – the Grade 12 – all school
stakeholders are enjoined to take full part to ensure that our first batch of K-12 graduates
would receive the quality education we envision. Our collaborative effort will definitely be
rewarded with better opportunities for you my dear students.

As you journey towards the sea of bigger opportunities you will need greater
discipline, perseverance, determination and hardwork to realize all your dreams in life.

With your parents’ undying support, your teachers’ patience and dedication, and
your classmates and friends’ care and concern, success won’t be impossible.

We hope to see you all successful and fulfilled in your chosen career few years
from now. Find your passion and get to it. May the Lord continuously guide you along
your journey!
