Phrasal Verbs ( Verbos frasales)
Los phrasal verbs (o verbo preposicional en español) se le podría definir
también como verbos compuestos, ya que al verbo en sí se le añade una
preposición(un ejemplo Wake (verbo) + Up (preposición) = Wake up-
Levantarse), haciendo que el conjunto gane un plus de dificultad a la hora de
aprenderlo. Normalmente los phrasal verbs, a la hora de traducirlos al español
quedaría como un sólo verbo (un ejemplo; Go on-Continuar). Ojo que hay phrasal
verbs que añadiéndole una partícula la definición cambia completamente, como
puede ser por ejemplo con Blow up que en este caso sería Explotar.
