Installation Guide

* Make the screen guiding for the (English) cause for Windows XP Professional 32-bit.

Pre-requirement
Necessary software is as follows before installing K-ROSET.

* The computer which Windows OS was installed

confirmation of system operation
* The installation CD media of K-ROSET
* The License File of K-ROSET

This product installs it with the following turns.

* Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0
* Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 Update KB2468871
* Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP1
* Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5
* Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 Language Pack
* Sentinel LDK Run-time
* Microsoft SQL Server Comapct 4.0
* K-Roset

[Appendix]
When all the necessary softwares are already installed in target computer,
only K-ROSET is installed.
・If you are upgrading K-ROSET, you must uninstall previous version before
installing and activating the new software.
・If you encounter an error in Sentinel Runtime installing process or your
device does not recognize HASP key, there is a possibility that some
unknown drivers may be installed unexpectedly in your device by plug and
play. In that case, please follow the process below.
①Open “Control Panel” in Windows by clicking “Start” button.
②Change the control panel to ”Classic View” if not.
③Click “System” in the control panel.
④Click ”Hardware” tab in the “System properties” and then open “Device
Manager”.
⑤Access to ” USB(Universal Serial Bus) controller” in “Device Manager”. If
“?” mark appears in the device, delete all the devices with “?”.

⑥Install HASP driver by using “<Installation Media
>¥Driver¥HASPUserSetup.exe “.

Installation procedure 1: K-ROSET
[1] Installation CD of K-ROSET,
when insert it in media drive,
A window such as the right note Start
automatically.

*When do not start automatically,

Please execute setup.exe in the K-
ROSET CD.

[2] Select the language for this installation

from choices below, and please click a
[OK] button.

[3] Framework installation window will
automatically open when necessary
software is not installed in your device.

• This process will be skipped for the devices

with necessary software.

[4] please click a [Install] button.

[5] Software will be installed.
* Note that installation process for Microsoft Net
Framework will take time.

Installation procedure 4: K-ROSET
[6] A right screen will appears before
installing the K-ROSET.

[7] Click [Next >] button, and then continues

the installation.

[8] Have you confirm the contents of the
licensing agreement, If there does not
seem to be a problem
Click [Next>] button, and then continues
the installation.

[9] Please enter your information.
Click [Next>] button, and then continues

[10] The right screen to select installation
folder of K-ROSET will appear.
If you want to change a target folder,
please change it.

[11] Click [Next >] button, and then continues

the installation.

[12] Select one of the following installation
types.

・Complete- Use this option to install all

program features.

・Custom – Use this option to select the

features you want to install.

[13] Click [Next >] button, and then continues

the installation.

[14] Click on the icons to select what program
features you want to be installed and how
they are installed.

[15] Click [Next >] button, and then continues

the installation.

[16] Ready to Install the Program.
Please click a [Install] button.

If you want to review or change any of

your Installation settings, click [<Back]
button.

[17] The installation of the K-ROSET start.
Please wait for a while.

Installation procedure 12: K-ROSET
[18] When the installation of K-ROSET is
finished successfully, a right dialogue
appears.
To see manual of K-ROSET
is required Adobe® Reader®
distributed by Adobe Systems
Incorporated.
If Adobe® Reader® is not installed to
your computer, Check box for
installation will appear below the right
dialogue. In this case, you had better
turn on this check box and install it
and click [Finish] button.

Installation procedure 13: K-ROSET
[19] Installer moves the license file to a target
folder you selected folder.

[20]Double-click a shortcut icon of K-ROSET

created to a desktop,
Please confirm that K-ROSET starts normally.

Uninstallation procedure 1: K-ROSET
[1] Uninstalling the software is performed from [Add or Remove Programs] of Control
Panel

Uninstallation procedure 2: K-ROSET
[2] When the dialogue of the right screen
will appear, and then click [Remove]
button.

Starting uninstalling after clicking this

button.
If you want to back-up, you perform at
just the right moment.

Uninstallation procedure 3: K-ROSET
[3] The message of the right screen will
appear.
After click [Yes] button to continue
uninstallation.

[4] Finally, erase the installed folder
