AASARAA Sevashram’s charity programmes for senior citizens

Camp 01 – 19th August 2012 – Free Medical Health Check-up Camp

Conducted 1st campaign for old age people under my NGO ‘AASARAA Sevashram’ at Dehugaon,
Pune. 135 senior citizens got the benefit of the free medical check-up.

Camp 02 – 7th June 2013 – Free Medical Health Check-up Camp

Conducted campaign for old age people at Kopar Khairane near Thane, more than hundred senior
citizens got the benefit of the free medical check-up.

Camp 03 – 30th July 2013 – Rain cover Distribution

Palki of Saint Shree Tukaram Maharaj moved on towards Pandharpur from Dehugaon (Pune) with
around 5 lac followers. A journey that takes around 20 days on foot. As an effort to protect some of
them from rain, AASARAA Sevashram distributed plastic rain covers to 5000 devotees. The total
expense amounted to Rs. 35000/- (Rupees Thirty Five Thousand only) which was met with the
support of our great donors.
Camp 04 – 28th October 2013 – Free Medical Health Check-up Camp

Conducted campaign for old age people at Koregaon (Khurd) near Chakan, Pune. 119 senior citizens
got the benefit of the free medical check-up.

Camp 05 – 25th December 2013 – Free Medical Health Check-up Camp

Conducted campaign for old age people at Kurla (E) Mumbai. More than 150 senior citizens got the
benefit of the free medical check-up.
Camp 06 – 01st March 2014 – Food and flowers Distribution

Conducted a unique campaign for senior citizens at Nana Nani Park, Thane (W) 50 senior citizens
were gathered for a Good Wish meet, distributed roses to each other for good luch, healthy and not
a lonely life ahead. After that we took a honour of to provide them the packets of Happy meal and
they enjoyed together their meal.

Camp 07 – 15th June 2014 – Free Medical Health Check-up Camp

Conducted campaign for old age people at Chandkhed, Tal – Maval, Dist – Pune, More than 70 senior
citizens got the benefit of the free medical check-up.

Activity 08 -

Smt. Sonabai Pethekar, Navi Mumbai. Suffering from Leprosy, Her husband and son not staying
with her because of her decease so she is surviving alone and also lost her private job of Rs.
4000/- salary because of this, She is therefore unable to take her medical treatments; AASARAA
Sevashram has started supporting her from July 2015 with Rs. 2000/- per month for medical
treatments.
Activity 09 –

Smt. Kondibai Shivram Bhalerao, age 56, residing at Room No 1112, Rahiwashi Sangh, Navi
Mumbai, 400 708. Suffering from Diabetes, Blood Pressure and Heart Diseases, she can’t afford
the medical treatments and her daily meals as well because she is surviving alone and she has
no income. She is therefore unable to make the said arrangements of money for her medical
treatment; AASARAA Sevashram has started supporting her from June 2015 with Rs. 2000/- per
month for her medicines and meals.

Activity 10 –

Smt Shantabai Yeole, age 62 years, At – Pachane, Post – Chandkhed, Tal – Maval, Dist – Pune,
(21 kilometres from Somatne Phata) The old Lady is working for orphan girls from last 12 years,
now she is with 25 girls (age between 7years to 15 years) staying with her in her own house
without any fees or compensations, she takes care of their meals, education and all their basic
needs, earlier she was getting help of groceries from a small manufacturing company based
nearby but last year the owner decided to close down the company and they do so and they
discontinued the help, now Smt. Shantabai gets the help of only 10 thousand rupees from 02
local residents, in that much of amount this is simply impossible to take care of 25 girls, from
yesterday 12th July 2015 AASARAA Sevashram has started supporting the proud lady with the
small amount of Rupees 5000/- per month.

Camp 11 – 27th July 2015 – Free Medical Health Check-up Camp

Conducted campaign for old age people at Dongargaon 21 kilometres from Kamshet. We had
arranged an ambulance for this place, also we not only set up a booth where about hundred senior
citizens got the benefit of the free medical check-up but also we visited some houses for bedridden
senior citizens who are not able to attend the booth .

Camp 12 – 22nd August 2015 – Free Medical Health Check-up Camp

Conducted campaign for old age people at Mokarwadi grampanchayat Ahire, about 50 kilometres
from Pune. Near about 70 senior citizens got the benefit of the free medical check-up.
Camp 13 – 08th September 2015 – Free Medical Health Check-up Camp

Conducted campaign for old age people at Sangurdi 4 kilometres from Dehugaon, 50 senior citizens
got the benefit of the free medical check-up.

Camp 14 – 02nd October 2015 – Free Medical Health Check-up Camp

Conducted campaign for old age people at Dhak Bahiri near Malavli, 70 senior citizens got the
benefit of the free medical check-up.
