Prerequisite for this release - products:
Full release 52072 AVEVA Everything3D™ 1.1
AVEVA Licensing System 1.0 or later and an appropriate License File.
Notes:
For customers who use AVEVA E3D Insight™: You must have AVEVA Mobile Applications Service
1.2.3 or higher. Earlier versions are incompatible.
1. This version of AVEVA Everything3D™ does NOT work with AVEVA Flexman.
2. If upgrading from AVEVA Licensing System 1.1.1, please install Fix release 1.1.1.3 in order to correct
an uninstall defect in that release. Once this has been done version 1.1.1.3 can be uninstalled and
replaced with later versions.
Microsoft Office Visio 2010 (Standard edition, 32-bit) is required for AVEVA Schematic Model Viewer.
To get the performance benefits given by the AVEVA Cache Service, which is installed with AVEVA
Everything3D™, you need to enable Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ). This is achieved using the
Windows Components feature of Windows Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.

Description
AVEVA Electrical & AVEVA Instrumentation use a Cable Status flag in cable schedule screens. This indicates if the cable is
estimated in route length, routed in AVEVA E3D, locked down for construction or requires revalidating, due to route changes
being notified from E3D. E3D has an extended scope for cable status on the CABLE element:

Title: Modify of the Clipping-Planes not possible - Form disappears / Clipping on-off is
not corresponding.
Symptoms: Clipping form disappears and prevents manipulation of existing Clipping.

Title: Draw Canvas - Zoom extents does not work if there is no write access to the
Database.
Symptoms: Zoom and pan operations are not possible in the Draw Canvas.

has a locked attribute but also checks if an element is read only.
Title: Using the Pipe Editor form to connect a Branch to a four-way Valve shows an
incorrect error message on the form.
Symptoms: Clicking on a valid Head/Tail connection, connected to a VFWA, resulted in
69148 137654 Piping a spurious warning message indicating that the branch was invalid and needed to be
reconnected.
Known workaround: None.
Solution: The Pipe Editor form now considers VTWA elements correctly.
Title: Point selection within the Positioning Control toolbar is incorrect on starting the
application.
67684 131187 Everything3D Symptoms: On starting the application the Element option is selected.
Known workaround: Pick the required option.
Solution: Fixed.
Title: Fatal Error on selecting the ‘More’ option from the Rep & Hatch style form
followed by Cancel.
145342 Draw Symptoms: Fatal Error.
Known workaround: Avoidance of described workflow.
Solution: Fixed – described workflow can be completed.
Title: Handling of Section Plane toggles in 3D View tab 'Define Limits' and the 3D View.
Symptoms: Section Planes are not always removed from the 3D View on using the
Define Limits group of the 3D View tab.

Solution: Fixed – Section Plane behaviour as defined by the Define Limits group and as
shown by the 3D View has been corrected.
Title: Spooler MTO object fails on querying P-Point bore sizes when run embedded in a
bolt report template.
Symptoms: Error on attribute PPBore.

Solution: Fixed check for 3rd and 4th bores to cope with extra ppoints in piping
catalogue.
Title: Selection of nozzles not behaving correctly with more than one nozzle spec.
Symptoms: Incorrect nozzle specification selection.
57984 98391 Model Known workaround: Use one nozzle spec or set the spec in the attributes form (or
command line).
Solution: Fix to Nozzle form selection for multiple nozzle specifications.
Title: Draw crashes when mouse is moved over existing drawing to create a dimension.
Symptoms: Application crash.
69775 139455 Draw Known workaround: Issue is data dependant.
Solution: Problem caused by redundant, copies of P-Points in CPS. Problem related to
updating P-Point data when using object snaps. Bug Fixed.
Title: Text Editor - Buttons Ok & Cancel are not selected by Tab
Symptoms: Cannot navigate using Tab key.

Known workaround: Use mouse instead of using keyboard.
Solution: Labels replaced with buttons to enable Tab action.
Title: Issues with E3D login form when using it on an NT authenticated Global Project
Symptoms: User is locked out of password field in certain situations

Solution: Modified some of the login specific for NT Authentication to ensure user is
never locked out of password field.
Title: Query on DBREF object with UDA name greater than 13 characters can crash
Symptoms: Query on a DBREF object (e.g. !!CE) with UDA name greater than 13

Known workaround: use old PML syntax, e.g. var !a :ABC..
Solution: this has been corrected
Title: Dimensions - changing dimension line position via PG causes application crash.
Symptoms: Application crashes.

Known workaround: No known workaround
Solution: Application does not crash in given case.
Title: Line types and text size is not exported correctly to DWF.
Symptoms: Line types are thin instead of thick. Text size is not honoured.
Known workaround: None.
Solution: Line types are exported with correct weight. It looks fine if Line Weights are
turned on in AutoCAD. Line types with glyph at one end/both ends/centre are not

supported and will not be supported (DXF/DWG format limitation). Exported line types
may look different than in Draw because of differences between PDMS and AutoCAD
line types definitions. Hatches are not supported; some emulation can be added in the
future. When line types with glyphs are used additional file (*.shx) with AutoCAD
shapes definitions is exported.
Title: Element does not have attribute messages in Modify Spool Drawing Part Numbers
form.
119004 Spooler Symptoms: Messages appear for each Pipe Fabrication attribute when selecting a Part.
Known workaround: Ignore messages.
Solution: Suppress messages.
Title: AB ADP process drawings control sometimes gave misleading Error messages

Solution: AB ADP has been corrected to avoid the incorrect messages

Development Testing
Developers have carried out unit testing of each enhancement and/or fix in the development environment
to verify that any new functionalities have been correctly implemented and identified defects have been
corrected.
Regression tests have been run in the development environment to verify that enhancements and/or fixes
have not adversely affected the integrity of the product.
System Testing
Limited independent system testing has been carried out on this product, as released, to verify that it
installs correctly in all supported configurations, that any new functionalities have been correctly
implemented and identified defects have been corrected.
Acceptance Testing
AVEVA’s Training and Product Support group is satisfied that the System Testing for this release is
sufficient to assure product quality.
Any exceptions found during Acceptance Testing or after release will be reported in the Product Release
