1.2 Number in base two

1.2.1 State the value of a digit of a number in base two.

Example : 11012
The value of a digit 1 is 1 × 23 = 8

1.2.2 Conversion of numbers in base two to the number in base ten.

Example : 1102 = (1 × 22) + (1 × 21) + (0 × 20)


=4 + 2 + 0
= 610
