PURPOSE

In order to comply with the requirements of the proponent’s subject, the proponent

would like to propose the strategic placement of Campus Security Cameras along with a

Video Surveillance System.

The name of the project is S.A.F.E. (Secured Area For Education). The main
purpose of this project is to secure the safety of all beings within the campus of De La Salle
University – Dasmarinas and to make sure proper decorum is observed at all times i.e.
theft, brawls, etc. As such, this project will require the help of the Environmental Resource
Management Center (ERMAC).

OBJECTIVES

The following are the major objectives that the project would like to achieve in the

near future:

1. To prevent further occurrences of suicide, theft, and the like;

2. To encourage proper behavior and to decrease the amount of offenses

committed by students annually;

3. And to serve as evidence when needed by the Student Welfare and Formation

Office (SWAFO)

SUCCESS CRITERIA

The following are the success criteria that would enable the proponents to identify if

the project is successful:

1. A 40% Increase in numbers of Security Cameras placed strategically inside the

campus of De La Salle University – Dasmarinas;

2. At least a 30% decrease in major offenses compared to the previous school year;

3. And achieve at least a 3.00 grade in the evaluation after two months of

promulgation of the said project.
