US, Tir Tairngire and
Pueblo CC in Negotiations
Meeting in Auckland, N.Z.,
negotiators from the US, Tir Tairngire
and the Pueblo Corporate Council are
attempting to hammer out an
agreement on the disputed lands
around Mt Shasta. The lands have
been contested since 2036 when Tir
forces intervened in the instability
following California succession.
The contested control and
murky boarder have lead to repeated
conflicts and violent incursions. “This
continuing cycle of violence and loss
of life must be ended,” said US chief
negotiator Brenda Astra.
Ellison Oak, the head of the
Tir delegation, said, “We welcome the
chance to end this unnecessary
conflict and build a peace on existing
borders.”
“The Pueblo Corporation
Council hopes to build bridges and
promote a healthy peace among all the
parties,” said Violet Northowl, head
of the PCC delegation.
The negotiations are continuing
and are expected to last until June or
later.
US Military joins in Anti-Devil
Rat Efforts
Following multiple devil rat
attacks on civilians in Puyallup the
Governor authorized military action
against devil rat nests in the southern
Metroplex. Certain high threat areas
were directly interdicted while
Metroplex Guard squads supported by
regular Army units fanned out across
the barrens to contain and eliminate
devil rat nests.
“We have reduced devil rat
numbers in the southern Metroplex by at
least 30%,” reported Colonel Jackson of
the US Army. “Local animal control
should be able to handle the situation
now.”

ManaWave Technologies
opens HQ in Seattle
The newly formed
ManaWave Technologies opened its
headquarters in downtown Seattle this
week. The corporation is the
brainchild of the famous Dr. A.
Shipson, who acts as CEO, and brings
together such diverse specialist
companies as Good Angel Medical
Research, NortHammer Arms,
OneWorld Networking and Zen Bio-
Pharmaceuticals into a synergistic
whole.
The new ManaWave
Technologies is an AA-rated
corporation. “This once again proves
that Seattle is central for global
economic development,” said
Governor Freeman-Nakagawa in a
speech welcoming ManaWave.
“ManaWave is happy to be
part of the constellation of Seattle
corporations,” said D. Kali-Engle,
ManaWave communications director.
Rumors say that all of the Big
Ten Megas have interests in the new
corporation but its stockholders have
not been publically revealed.
Seattle Stress challenge the
Berlin Blitz for the Lead
As the season draws to a close,
the top teams fight for the lead. The
Stress are to play the Berlin Blitz in
Berlin on Saturday. A win for either
team will place them in first place and
the game is expected to be vicious.
The match will be shown live
via holoprojection at the MetroDome.

Gates-Bezos Wing Opens
at Pacific Science Center
The new Gates-Bezos
Evolution of Technology wing of the
Pacific Science Center opens this
Friday.
The new wing shows the
history and evolution of technology
using many hands on and AR
enhanced displays to allow visitors to
interact with earlier technologies.
“We hope that people will play with
and experience these items to
appreciate how technology evolves,”
said Dr. K Nimoy, Curator of the new
wing.
Among the pieces on
display are reproductions of the
Antikythera mechanism and
Babbage’s difference engine along
with early computers and
cyberdecks. Visitors can try coding
and circuit design, experience early
computer programs and games, and
learn about how technology changes
and adapts to the needs of the people.
The Pacific Science Center
will be open for 72-hours straight
starting at Midnight Thursday until
Midnight Sunday to showcase the new
wing. The Governor and many major
players in the technology world will be
attending the formal opening on Friday
Break Down the Walls Concert
Successful, more planned
The Break Down the Walls -
Yes on Prop 23 concert hosted by
Gossamer was a resounding success
with bands from across the US and
beyond participating including a
reunion of the Celestial Intervention
Agency and performances by Maria
Murcurial, Jack Entropy and
Interstate 5.
The concert was widely
rebroadcast both across the Metroplex
and the world. A second concert is
planned for April.
