• Managed prize inventory and guest lists for events by maintaining contest winners’ information in
an organized manner via Google Docs
• Assisted in the planning and execution of on-air contest promotions from the creation of rules to
the distribution of prizing
• Directed large-scale events such as a four-part Summer Concert Series and a Battle of the Bands
• Worked closely with the sales team and program director to ensure proper execution of all tasks
from start to finish
• Hired, trained, and managed a group of 15+ interns
95.5 WBRU-FM Radio - Promotions Intern
October 2016 – January 2017
• Worked off-site events such as concerts and bar promotions representing the brand of WBRU
• Assisted in event set-up such as hanging sponsor banners, and arranging the promotions table with
a prize wheel and merchandise
• Managed online calendars via Word Press with Bru Crew events and upcoming concerts
• Contacted winners of contests and managed the prize book ensuring it's up to date and tickets were
properly handled
• Engaged with listeners both at concerts and on the phone, providing positive customer
service/brand image
Mixed Media Promotion - Publicity Assistant

• Worked closely with Whaling City Sound record label to provide services for clients
• Designed event banners digitally and scheduled all social media posts through Hootsuite
• Distributed press releases for different clients by e-mailing targeted people
• Managed social media sites/website by using a series of steps to post reviews, events, and other
