PROMACT PLASTIC LIMITED has been in the service of plastic profession since 1985.

Promact plastic limited was established as on 26/3/1985. At that time the name of the
company is promact plastic private limited but after passing special resolutions on 15/2/1993, the
name is changed and promact plastic limited the founder of the company is Mr. NARAYANBHAI
N. PATEL day by day company is getting success. Mehsana is being concerned, there is no other
company that is producing that is plastic bags.

Promact plastic limited is a public limited company it is good luck group at Mehsana. The
company was established with an aim to provide better packing materials for commodities like
chemical, fertilizers and cement against traditional material of jute bags, over the period of time
company got good faith from users and their quickly established synthetics woven sacks industry
during 1983 to 1988.

Now the company is having good domestic market and in good


position company is developing very fast.

5.6 MANAGEMENT OF INVENTORIES

Inventory mean the stock of product i.e. raw material, semi finished goods
& finished goods. In India 60% of the current assets are represented by inventory.
A large part of working capital is invested in inventories. The management
on inventories is therefore necessary to avoid heavy losses due to leakage, theft & wastage
because neglecting the management of inventories may jeopardize the long run profitability of
the concern. Management of inventory thus related to optimum investment in inventory.
