Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp

A two days Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp, sponsored by the Department of

Science & Technology, and EDI was jointly organized by Hardicon Ltd. &
-Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Jagan Nath University, Bahadurgarh, in the
campus. The event was inaugurated on 21st Feb 2018 with Saraswati Vandana (by
the students) and lighting of the lamp by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. H.L.
Verma, Mr. Jitendra Dubey from Hardicon Ltd, Dr. S.K. Malik (District Industries
Centre), Mr. Vinay Kumar(Assistant General Manager-SIDBI), Mr. S.P. Popli (FLC-
Jhajjar), Mr. Sandeep Kumar (Corporate Trainer), in the presence of all the
students.

Prof. H.L. Verma-Vice Chancellor welcomed the guests and initiated the session by
explaining the growing need of entrepreneurship in the present era. Mr. Jitendra
Dubey mentioned the role of science & Technology in the development of the
country. Mr. S.K. Malik shared his views about how students can self-assess and
utilize their talents in order to start a new business. Mr. Vinay Kumar and Mr. S.P.
Popli provided the information about the various entrepreneurship related
government schemes and plans available for the students. Mr. Kumar Sandeep
shared his success story and motivated the students. He also discussed the
problems an entrepreneur may face and also provided the suitable solutions.
Entrepreneurship Development cell members Mr. Saurabh Bansal and Dr. Pooja
Khurana addressed in the session.

Mr. Hari Prasad summed up the event by elevating the morale of the students and
praising all guests, staff members, students and others involved in the event. Dr.
Raj Kumar Yadav, Dr. R.K. Mudgil, Mr. Divyanshu Chauhan, Mr. Saurabh Bansal
encouraged the students to take part in this type of activities for overall
development.
