The Vice-Chancellor has approved to keep the advertisement, details of posts


& pay-scale, application processing fees, prescribed qualifications and application form (lA
for teaching posts and for Grade' A' & 'B' non-teaching posts) alongwith instructions/
conditions of the advertised posts on the University Website enabling the candidates to down-
load the application form and adjudge their eligibility before applying.

2- A copy of advertisement No. 2/2018 alongwith details of posts & pay-scale,


application processing fees, prescribed qualifications, application form (IA for teaching posts
and for Grade 'A' & '8' non-teaching posts) and instructions/conditions is enclosed to keep
the same on the University Website today positively and retain it upto 20.03.2018 and also to
provide facility to download the same.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the various
teaching vacant posts in the University. The postwise details alongwith pay-scale, application
processing fee, application form, essential qualifications, general instructions/conditions,
reservation, etc. can be downloaded from the University Website http://www.hau.ernet.in. The
duly filled in application form alongwith self attested photo copies of required certificates and
documents should reach at the address "The Registrar, CCS HAU, Hisar-125004" on or before
20.3.2018 upto 4.30 p.m. The candidates are also requested to visit University website regularly
for updates/corrigendum/ amendment, if any, with respect to above advertisement.

Note-I: 3% horizontal reservation of the total posts will be provided to the persons with
disabilities belonging to Haryana State with 40% or more disability. Reservation
for the persons with disabilities in Group A' or Group 'B'posts shall be computed
on the basis of total number of vacancies occurring in direct recruitment quota in all
the Group A'posts or Group 'B'posts respectively in the cadre.

However, if eligible persons are not found available in response to this


advertisement, the posts will be filled out of general category and the points meant
for persons with disabilities shall be carried forward for being filled from future
vacancies.

Note-2: The selection criteria in respect of non-teaching post will be uploaded on the
University Website before the commencement of selection process.

Application processing fee in the shape of a bank draft (inclusive GST) of Rs.11801-
(Rs.295/- for SC/BCA/BCB/EBPG of Haryana domicile) drawn in favour of "The
Registrar, CCS HAD, Hisar" and payable at Hisar should be attached with each application
form. No amount will be accepted through cheque, cash, money order, postal order or any
other mode. Person with disabilitiesl ESM of Haryana shall be exempted from payment of
application processing fees. The female of Haryana Domicile shall also be granted 50%
concession (i.e. Rs. 5901- (Rs. 148/- for SC/BCA/BCB/EBPG) payable as application
processing fees.

Note-I Irrespective of the below qualifications, Hindi/Sanskrit in Matric Standard will


be an essential subject for all the posts.
Note-II The consideration of Ph.D degree will be upto the date of interview subject to
submission of thesis as on the last date of receipt of application and production

I-A. Assistant Scientist (Food Technology)


I. Masters degree with 55% marks in Food Science and Technology/Food Technology/
Food Processing Technology
2. Must have passed NET/SLET/SET examination from UGC/CSIRlICARIState.
3. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and masters level for the
SC/ST/Differently-abled (physically and visually differently-abled)/other Backward
Classes (OBC) (Non-creamy layer) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for
assessing good academic records during direct recruitment to teaching positions. The
eligibility marks of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading
system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are

Ordinances/Bylaws/Regulations of the Institutions awarding the degree and the Ph.D
candidates shall be exempted from the requirements of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and
appointment of Assistant Professor - or equivalent positrons in
Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfilment-of the following conditions:

a) Ph.D. Degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only


b) Evaluation of the Ph.D Thesis by at least two external examiners.
c) Open Ph.D Viva voce of the candidate had been conducted.
d) Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D work out of which at least one
must be in a referred journal.
e) Candidate has made at least two presentations in conferences/seminars, based on his/her Ph.D
work.

assessing good academic records during direct recruitment to teaching positions. The

Qualifications of Non-teaching posts:

7. Legal Remembrancer

i) Graduation with at least 55% marks from any recognized University or its equivalent
and LLB with at least 55% marks from any recognized University.
OR

Five years integrated Degree Course In Law with at least 55% marks from any
recognized University.

ii) Minimum 10 years experience at Bar, or the person could be a former Judicial
Officer.

iii) Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric level.

Preference would be given to the candidate having higher qualifications or a person who has
been a practicing advocate in active practice, for which full proof and particulars and
certificate of practice shall be furnished from the Bar Council along-with list of cases handled
and conducted.

8. Exhibition Officer

Essential:

i) Graduate in Agriculture/ Home Science/ Veterinary Sciences/ Animal Sciences/


Agricultural Engineering.
ii) P.G. Diploma in Agricultural Journalism/equivalent.
iii) At least 5 years experience in relevant field of the State/Central Govt., Public Sector
Undertaking/University.
iv) Knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit upto Matric standard.

Desirable:
Experience in the education of farmers in matters relating to Agriculture or allied fields/
Haryanvi Folklore.
