Thermal Overload Operating Times calculation Spreadsheet

This spreadsheet provides a method to calculate the thermal overload operating time.
The thermal overload operating time includes four items:
1.alarm operating time
2. trip operating time
3. alarm reset time
4. trip reset time

The user is required to enter the settings, and for each stage (except the last stage) the equivalent current applied.
The duration also needs to be entered if pre-heat and/or pre-cool is required.

There are four sheets in this spreadsheet. They are described as follows:
cold
This sheet applies when the conditions below are met:
1. The relay's initial injection current is zero.
2. Apply a current above I> for the relay to trip. The trip and alarm times are displayed. The trip time is automatically ent
this stage. (stage 1)
3. When the relay trips, the injection current is automatically removed by the spreadsheet. The expected reset times are d

pre-heat
This sheet applies when the conditions below are met:
1: The relay's initial injection current is zero.
2. Apply a current for a duration which is not sufficient to trip the relay (stage 1)
3. Increase the current above I> for the relay to trip. The trip and alarm times are displayed. The trip time is automatically
in this stage (stage 2)
4. When the relay trips, the injection current is automatically removed by the spreadsheet. The expected reset times are di

pre-heat&cool
This sheet applies when the conditions below are met:
1: The relay's initial injection current is zero.
2. Apply a current for a duration which is not sufficient to trip the relay. (stage 1)
3. Decrease the injection current for a certain duration. (stage 2)
4. Increase the current above I> for the relay to trip. The trip and alarm times are displayed The trip time is automatically e
in this stage. (stage 3)
5. When the relay trips, the injection current is automatically removed by the spreadsheet. The expected reset times are d

thermal ceiling
This sheet applies when the conditions below are met:
1: The relay's initial injection curret is zero.
2: Apply a current above the I> for the relay to get to the thermal ceiling. The expected minimum duration of Stage1 displ
3: Decrease the current under I>, wait the relay trip reset. The expected reset time displayed. (Stage 2)

In each sheet, there is also an instruction to use the spreadsheet.

In general, the yellow boxes are required to enter data, the red boxes display the calculated results.
