ADDENDUM-1 TO CONTRACT DATED ____, January 2018
AND
Mr. Khurram Farid Bargatt s/o Mushtaq Hussain, having CNIC No. 35200-
6353332-9, hereinafter called “the Consultant”) which expression shall, where the
context so admits, include its successors-in-interest, representatives and permitted
assigns) of the Second Part.
(The Client and the Consultant are hereinafter separately referred to as the “Party”
and collectively as the “Parties”).
WHEREAS;
i. The Parties concluded a Contract dated May 02, 2016 (the “Contract”)
between themselves which is accepted as valid and is in force in its entirety
period ending on July 13, 2016 or any other period as may be subsequently
agreed by the parties in writing.
ii. The Parties to the Contract, pursuant to Clause 1 have mutually agreed to
revise the scope of services as specified in Annex-A of the Original Contract
“Terms of Reference and Scope of Services”. Additional Services are added in
the Terms of Reference and Scope of Services which are mentioned in (Annex-
1),
iii. The Parties to the Contract, pursuant to Clause 2 have mutually agreed to
increase the time period of services from 2 months to 6 months. The 6 months’
time period is divided in two phases:

2. Design Phase From date of signing of 15 days

2 Construction Phase From date of commencement 04 months
of works till works completion1
1. Time period of Construction phase will start from date of commencement of
works by contractor on Task 1, Task 2, Task 3 and Task 4 as mentioned in
TOR’s- Annex-A (whichever is later) and end on completion of completion of all
works (whichever is later)
iv. Pursuant to clause 3.A of the contract the parties due to additional services and
additional time period have mutually agreed to increase the Contract Price from
amount of Rs. 420,000/- (Rupees Four Lack Twenty Thousand Only) to Rs
900,000/- (Rupees Nine Hundred Thousands Only) inclusive of all taxes.

1. Will be based upon Financial Progress of Contractor after clearance of IPC.
The mutual rights and obligations of the Parties, to the contract, shall remain as set
forth in the Contract read with this Addendum, in particular.
No terms and conditions of the Contract are negated or changed as a result of this
Addendum, except for the savings and/or substitution(s)/ amendment(s) provided
herein above in this Addendum.
This addendum shall be construed the part and parcel of the Contract.

Annex-1
Additional Services
The Consultant is required to provide following services for the additional works at Khabbeki
Lake:

3. It is required from Consultant that evaluation of preliminary drafts Engineers
estimates be made.
4. A detailed design of the additional is to be made in accordance with the concept
design provided by the Urban Unit
5. Structural Designs of the same are to be delivered
6. Tender Drawings of the design are to be made by the Consutlant
7. After the preliminary Draft Engineers’ Estimate, final Engineers estimates are to be
made by the Consultant
8. The consultant is required to prepare Bidding Documents of the said task
9. It is expected of the Consultant to provide assistance in bidding process and
evaluation of submitted bids
10. Working / Construction Drawings will be provided by the Consultant
11. Resident Supervision along with verification of bills is the duty of Consultant
