 Seven engines, one constant: pure power. From
the 2.0 litre petrol, 2.7 litre petrol and 2.5 litre diesel
engines to the 3.0 litre diesel and 4.0 litre V6 petrol
engines, there’s a Hilux that has just the right
of amount of power to do exactly what you want
it to do. And with great power comes great agility.
The Hilux range was created with an extreme focus
on manoeuvrability, excellent handling and stability.
The 4x4 models deliver high capacity part-time
transfer and shaft and AI (Artificial Intelligence) –
SHIFT control on the 4.0 litre automatic models,
which enables comfortable driving by automatically
switching the shifting pattern according to any
road condition and your intent as a driver.

Even when the going gets tough, the Hilux remains

smooth and stable. The 4x2 models have a front
suspension with a double-wishbone with coil spring
and the 4x4 models have a high-mount-type upper
arm front suspension. The rear suspension has
a combination of leaf springs and twin tube shock
absorbers to handle the toughest of terrains and
road conditions.

the bold front grille and rounded front bumper to the colour
-coded front bumpers and rear combination lamps that
complement the front design. The unmistakable over -fender
and chrome-plated mirrors* with integrated indicators* give

a rear step bumper* with chrome trim* don’t go unnoticed.
The wheels range from 15" and 16" steel and 15" alloys to
17" alloys on Xtra Cab Raider, Double Cab Raider and Single

The Hilux body structure is only one of its many tough safety features. A specially engineered frame structure increases
rigidity without compromising strength or durability. The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)* regulates the hydraulic pressure
of the brakes and a load-sensing proportioning and bypass valve optimise the effectiveness of the rear brakes. The front
seat belts have a 3-point ELR pretensioning system* and seat belts are supplied for all passengers in the back seat of the
double cab. Front, side and curtain shield airbags* add extra peace of mind along with a wireless door lock*, an immobiliser
with a built-in alarm, a tailgate that locks* and a spare wheel with an anti-theft lock.

SECURE STORAGE SPACE (XTRA CAB)
A highly durable frame and reinforced loadbox can carry your equipment and tools without
hassle. All workhorses live up to their name and have strong towing capacities. And their
brute force is complemented by power steering on all models and an Anti-lock Braking
System (ABS) on S models. We haven’t forgotten about style either. Every workhorse
features a colour-coded front bumper and a painted radiator grille.
