Sunday emphasise the perfect Praises of the children, who were innocent,
worthy, unashamed and compelled by their Pure Love of Christ - unlike the
sinister and conniving adults who would contribute to a greater or lesser degree
to His betrayal and unjust, illegal arrest, trial, torture and crucifixion.
We are all Called to Glorify Christ in the same joyous and spontaneous spirit of
unashamed and pure Love of God!
In contrast, the adults’ Praises carried earthly expectations and hidden agendas
which, when left unfulfilled, led them to rebel against our Lord Jesus Christ just a few
days later!
AS USUAL, THE EVIL ONE ALWAYS USES OUR HUMAN WEAKNESSES AND SELFISH DESIRES AGAINST US AND AGAINST

THE PALM CROSSES
Above the
Cherubim, Thou hast stirree up Thy
Power, and sent Thine Only Begotten
Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, to
Redeem the world through His
Cross, Burial and Resurrection.
He went to Jerusalem, to His
voluntary Passion, the people who
lived in Darkness and in the Shadow
of Death, took up symbols of Victory
– boughs of trees and palm
branches, which foretold the
Resurrection.
O Master, as we, too, imitating them,
carry Palms and branches on the eve
of the Feast, watch over us.

“Hosanna!” like those multitudes and
the children, Safeguard us, so that
