Joy that is Divine and never ending is
what the Divine and Sacred Band of
gave to the Disciples, thereby
obeying the instruction of our Lord’s
Holy Angel who had bedazzled them
before with his Most Luminous Robe.
They announced that Hades was
ruined by the All Saving Resurrection
of our King and Lord Who had died
on our behalf.
From the morning watch until night;
from the morning watch until night
– let Israel Hope in the Lord.
Tears that flowed from fountains of
mourning and lamentation, Christ’s
Disciples stopped, now bringing
their Testimony of Grace – those
Joyful Words! For they announced
the Resurretion of our Lord, for the
Logos has Risen – bringing Joy from
the Tomb, having wondrously heard
His Voice commanding them to now

of the All Holy Gospel, as with bright
glowing showers. Wherefore,
Alexandria joins us today in this
Festive observance of Thy Holy
Memory, and rightly extols Thy Holy
Relics, which She venerates.

O Mark, Godly Wise, Thou became like
the pen of a Most Wise and ready
Scribe, for Inspired by God, for all
the world Thou wrote of the
Incarnation of Christ, and Thou
openly proclaimed the Words of Life
Everlasting. May we be enrolled
therein by Thy Prayers on behalf of
all who now honour Thy Glorious
Memory.
His Proclamation went forth into all
the Earth, and His Words to the
ends of the world.
O All Lauded Evangelist, Mark, in
proclaiming Christ, Thou travelled
throughout the civilized world, and
were like a bright sun, for with Rays
of True Faith, Thou dispelled the
Darkness of polytheism. Entreat our
Lord on our behalf, supplicating Him
to bestow upon our soul surpassing
Peace and His Great Mercy.

O Apostle of Christ, All Blessed mark,
Thou proclaimed the Gospel where
once the folly of false beliefs
prevailed. As Thou preached our
