Job Description :
- Continuous Improvement culture to develop and set up the Maintenance department to
maintain consistent Equipment reliability, Availability targets as set by the Project
Maintenance manager
- Develop and continue to improve suite of reports when possible for Project Equipment
performance including but not limited to standard KPI’s
- Work with Supervisor Mechanic to develop weekly, monthly shutdown schedules for
inclusion in the plans by the Senior Mining Engineer.
- Ensure Preventative Maintenance schedules are adhered to

- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to prevent any unplanned failure and ensure
maintenace aktivities.
- Support and implement development of External repair before failure program through
daily and periodic inspections on all prime and support equipment
- Actively monitor inventory levels with the Warehouse Department to ensure stock levels
accommodate usage requirements and no unnecessary or excessive stock levels occur
- Proactive leadership of the Maintenance ERP system within the maintenance function
- on the respective site through implementation and continuous improvement of the
- system and procedures as required or when instructed.
 - Coordinate and liaise with the other functional groups to achieve Asset Management
- Group KPI’s.
- Monitor and manage the performance of all your Department subordinates
- Assist the Project Maintenance Manager in the training and mentoring of personnel as
