Our client is a large, NSW government department. They are implementing a new
Payroll and Finance system based on an SAP platform

This is a significant project of work that involves the integration of all

applications and functions to the new system

Role description:

Working with Business Owners, the SAP Lead FI/CO will be responsible for the
design, implementation and support of all aspects of the financial accounting and
controlling processes in their SAP environment

Duties include:

Identify as-is processes and to-be processes and map the business processes
to SAP.
Conduct Blueprint / Design workshops for one or more processes
Configure scenarios in relevant SAP modules.
Write Functional Specification / Configuration documents and work with ABAP
developers to complete object development and testing
Peer review documentation
Respond to user requirements, problem resolution, develop designs, and
process modelling
Scoping/estimation, problem solving, troubleshooting and identify root
cause application issues.
Test case preparation, Unit testing, UAT support.
User requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs.

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years experience with the SAP FICO module in a technical, and
functional advisory, role with at least four full life cycle implementations of SAP
ECC (S/4 Hana-Simple finance preferred).
Hands on configuration, design and architectural experience in AR/FSCM, GL
and Fixed Assets a must.
Must have functional and technical experience in other areas in SAP FICO �
PCA including Internal Orders, Account based COPA, Taxation and Banking interfaces.
Experience providing application functional support in designing interfaces
between various ERP systems.
Experience designing processes related to banking interfaces and taxation
(including withholding taxes) a plus.
Extensive functional and technical experience in FICO master data,
consolidation, intercompany transactions, account determination, mapping of
integrated transactions, and the ability to drive the design of functional areas
and profit centres.
Excellence in interacting with business and IT teams
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Knowledge and experience with SAP BW, ABAP programming, or Solution Manager
(SolMan) is a strong plus.

What you will be doing:

Business Process Mapping from �as is� and �to be� to SAP
Run workshops for one or more processes on Blueprint/Design
Strong documentation skills to review, build and configure
SAP Basis Administrator to configure, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and daily
operational activities
Administrator, technical support and troubleshoot SAP applications including ECC,
BW, CRM etc.
Strong problem solver and identify improvements/solutions
Supporting and leading project tasks
Contributing to work plans and engagements
What you will possess

5 + years� functional and technical experience in industry/consulting with SAP FICO

Strong hands on experience with SAP technologies and applications
Technical experience with S/4 HANA strongly preferred within finance and HR/Payroll
modules
Troubleshooting skills across a variety of SAP applications
Great verbal and written communication
Experience with SAP CO (controlling) processes, planning and understanding of COPA
