Description

The invention relates to a furnace shell for a shaft furnace, Ring shaft furnace and the like, with a
sheet steel jacket, an inside lining masonry and at least one bracket attached to the steel casing, on
which a portion of the lining brickwork rests, wherein the bracket has a bottom side supported annular
flange which is oriented at an acute angle to the steel sheet jacket and forms a supporting surface for
lining stones.

The furnace shell of the structure described above has a brick lining in shots, each shot is supported
on a console. Between shots remain expansion joints. The expansion joints prevent damage caused
by the furnace shell Wärmedeh planning. In an annular shaft kiln, it is advisable to provide a console
in the furnace shell in each case below the disposed in the annular space arches. A subdivision of the
lining brickwork in shots, each of which is mounted on a console, also has advantages during repair of
the refractory lining.

This can be carried out more cost effective, since example, the lining of a lower combustion zone can
be replaced without the masonry lining in the upper must be herausgebrachen Before heating zone.

In the context of well-known from practice measures the consoles from an annular flange, which is
welded directly to the steel sheet-metal jacket of the furnace are made. On the underside of the
annular flange, a plurality of radially directed ribs are provided, which are also fastened by its rear end
on the steel sheet jacket. The steel shell is usually not designed to accommodate the weight of the
drywall factory. To prevent buckling of the steel jacket, the steel sheet jacket is stiffened on the
outside in the area of the consoles by reinforcing rings, being used as the reinforcement rings hollow
profiles with a high modulus. On the outside of a shaft furnace or annular shaft kiln existing platforms,
pipelines and the same assembly of the reinforcement rings are often in the way. Not infrequently, the
console can not be installed in the desired and optimal height of the shaft furnace due to constructive
tive constraints arising from existing platforms and geek term pipelines. Lich closing the assembly of
the brackets by a plurality of welds that must be attached to both the inside and on the outside of the
steel shell, very expensive.

The invention has for its object to provide a panel for a furnace shell of the type described which is
simple in construction and is easy to assemble.

To achieve this object the invention is that the sole has a Kon fixed to the inner wall of the steel jacket
sleeve, to which the annular flange and the lower-side support means of the annular flange are
circumferentially connected teaches. The inventive cuff, the ballast of the lining brickwork is
introduced over a large area uniformly in the steel jacket of the furnace. The sleeve fulfills an essential
enhancement function and prevents the buckling of the steel sheet cladding under the weight of the
feed masonry. The space requirement of which is arranged on the inner side of the steel sheet jacket
cylindrical It is small cuff. This, in the masonry lining or insulating materials, which are provided on the
back of the lining brickwork usually be accommodated easily and does not impair the thermal
insulation of the furnace lining. is classified as the collar on the inside of the steel jacket ange, can be
fixed its position by heat-technical point of optimal and without disturbing constructive constraints.

Within the scope of the invention is that the supporting means consists of a plurality, arranged in
uniform distribution in the circumferential ribs, which are welded with its rear end to the
cuff. Preferably, however, the support means consists of a ring which is connected at its outer
periphery to the sleeve and at its inner periphery with the annular flange, the annular flange and the
lower-side ring in cross-section form a support triangle. A favorable load distribution is obtained in
particular if the annular flange and the lower-side ring in cross-section at right angles to connect each
other. The described exporting tion has a surprisingly simple construction and can be manufactured
inexpensively. Between the annular flange and the lower-side ring radially oriented support ribs can
be arranged to improve the stiffness of the console to ver. However, such support ribs are not
required as a rule.

In a further embodiment, the invention teaches that the steel sheet jacket and the sleeve have aligned
ventilation holes, which open into a rear side turned from the console closed space, the ventilation
openings are arranged in two spaced in oven longitudinal direction of rows of holes. In the back space
of the console, which is delimited by the ring flange and the lower-side ring, results in a cooling air
flow by free convection, wherein external air flows through the lower hole series and heated air re-
emerges through the upper row of holes from the rear space of the console. In order to improve the
cooling effect, an annular air baffle may be disposed within the rear side enclosed by the console
room which is connected between the Lach rows of the sleeve and along the cooling air entering
through the lower row of holes, on the inner surfaces of the support means and the annular flange to
the upper row of holes passes.
The teaching of the invention also allows easy Mon day the console. Expediently, the console pre-
made segments introduced into the interior of the furnace and secured to the units as vargefertigte
Stahlblechman tel. Each segment consists of an arcuate portion of the sleeve and attached thereto
portions of the annular flange and the support means.

In the following the invention is explained in detail with reference being made to exemplary
embodiment illustrated in the drawings. Schematically

Fig. 1 a longitudinal section through the shaft furnace the furnace shell of a ring,

Fig. 2 shows a detail of the furnace shell in an enlarged view.

The furnace shell of the annular shaft furnace shown in Fig. 1 consists in its basic structure of a steel
sheet-metal casing 1 and an inside lining Masonry 2. The masonry lining 2 consists of several shots,
each shot rests on a fixed to the sheet steel jacket 1console. 3 Between shots of the lining brickwork
expansion joints 4 are arranged. One takes the Fig. 1, that below the bridges 5 of the annular shaft
furnace brackets are arranged and that a further console in the transition area is provided between
the preheating zone and the combustion zone. The arrangement of the consoles 3prevents the
occurrence of temperature-induced stresses in the masonry lining 2 in the area of the
bridges 5, which might cause damage to the bridge. 5 Further, it allows the Anord illustrated voltage
of the brackets 3 to be that the lining of the burning zone can be repaired without the masonry lining
of the preheating zone, which is subjected to less stress due to the lower temperatures and has a
greater life, must also be broken.

The brackets 3 have a lower side supported annular flange 6 which is α oriented at an acute angle to
the sheet steel jacket 1 and a supporting surface for food blocks 7forms (Fig. 2). A NEN between the
Futterstei 7 and the sheet steel jacket 1 remaining annular space is filled with insulating
material. 8 One takes the Fig. 2, that the bracket3 has attached to the inner wall of the steel
shell 1 collar 9, to which the annular flange 6 and an annular flange the lower side supporting ring are
connected circumferentially end 10. The ring 10, in the following also called the support ring is
connected at its outer periphery to the sleeve 9 and at its inner periphery with the ring flange. 6 In this
case, the annular flange 6 and the lower-side support ring 10 form a support triangle in cross section.

Preferably, the annular flange 6 and the lower-side support ring 10 close at right angles to each other.

One removes even the Fig. 2 that the sheet steel jacket 1 and the sleeve 9 have aligned ventilation
holes 11, which open into the rear of the console 3 enclosed space. The ventilation openings 11 are
arranged in two spaced rows in oven longitudinal direction Lach, wherein the upper Lach row near the
annular flange 6 and the lower Lach series is provided near the support ring 10th By free convection
tion a flow of cooling air, wherein external air flows in through the lower Lach series and heated air
leaves the rear space by the upper row of holes is produced in the rear space of the console. 3 To the
cooling effect according to verbes fibers, an annular air deflector 12 is disposed within the space that
is connected between the rows of holes in the sleeve 9 and along the cooling air on the inner surfaces
of the support ring 10and the annular flange 6 passes to the upper Lach row. The inventive Gestal
tung high temperatures of the console 3 can be kept away.
The console is largely preassembled outside the furnace. Expediently, the console from prefabricated
segments which are introduced into the interior of the furnace and attached as vorgefer preferential
units on the steel sheet jacket. In this case, each segment of an arc-shaped portion of the collar, on
the already cut the associated Ringflanschab and the associated supporting ring section are
connected.
